Alright, I graduated over the weekend and got a little bit of money.
I finally decided to get a DSi, but want to get a good flash card as well. It seems the best ones on the market now are the R4i Ultra (upgraded R4), the Acekard 2i or the SuperCard DSOnei.
My question is, what is considered to be the best in the long run? I know the R4 was popular for the DSlite, but I heard the SuperCard has the best features and is the most user friendly. It also happens to be the most expensive. Anyways, anybody have any experience/opinions on this?? Also, what site do you recommend for this so I get the authentic product?

nonononononono don't trust anything R4. The original team has long since been busted and disbanded.
Get the Supercard DSONEi. It's the only future-proof DSi flashcard on the market right now. If a Nintendo firmware update kills your card, they can develop a workaround to it that allows you to use it again.

Still, yeah. R4 stopped making them, it's hard to track a genuine one now.

I have an M3 Real for my original DS. It is Slot 1 so it might work in the DSi.

No it doesn't. All original DS flashcards are killed on the DSi, or else I wouldn't even be thinking of buying one of these... =/

Yea I am going to go with the Supercard. Also, I am typing this from my DS. The web browser is pretty slick.
What site do you recommend ordering from? Some sites seem to have it a nice amount cheaper than others and I would hate to get sheisted.

The Supercard appears to deal with Nintendo's updates (and future updates) rather well.

I prefer a PSP with CFW, the emus generally have more compatibility, which I'm willing to sacrifice a decent d-pad for.

I just got the Supercard in this morning and it works unbelievably. Its lets you have an active save state for any of your DS games.
