Bruins lost Game 7 of their play-off series in OT, thus getting themselves eliminated.
Celtics lost Game 6 of their play-off series, forcing a Game 7.
Red Sox lost 5-4 to the Angels in 12 innings, because Ortiz can't fucking hit this season. I used to be against performanc-enhancing drugs. Now I am against them for everyone except David Ortiz.

The Celtics still have a change though. They just need to win this game 7. And it is still kind of early in the baseball season so the Red Sox can can still recover.

Aww I'm sorry. I was rooting for the Bruins, too. *sigh*. Oh well. Next year, right?

They're a young team and Carolina just had too much experience. That, and the Bruins shit the bed repeatedly on power plays. Again, probably an "experience" thing.
We'll have to come up with a different name than "Boston Massacre" for Thursday night; I believe that was taken by the 5-game sweep by the Yanks that effectively ended our season back in 2006. Oh, and that historical thing a long time ago.
