Update.
Actually, a pretty bit update. This product is a natural language search engine that will not be keyword based. It will be based on syntax and computational algorithms.
It is set to launch this month and details can be read here:

Update: Going Live
First Attempt:
May 15th @ 8PM EST they will turn it on and it will be available about 1-2 hours later.
Webcasting will be occurring and infrastructure balancing will be happening. They make no promises about this working well right off the bat. This is a very smart move. A real "beta" test.
Official Working Live Date:
May 18th
After having a few days to work out the kinks they will advertise the service as open to the public.

I was reading up on this in the AP. Apparently it's good for anything but hunting for sports stats.

I imagine that this will change very quickly.

Amazing, this thing looks incredible. Hopefully it can help me track down some hard to find Star Trek files.

Damn, that's pretty cool. Type in any city, and it gives you how large it is and it's population.

I was looking last night and found that they will generate bar codes if you put in an ISBN (based on example input). But I input a real ISBN in the same format and it didn't work-it just treated the dashes as minus signs and subtracted. Anyway, if they fix their bar code generator, that could easily be used for...less than noble purposes.

I'm reserving comments about broken shit until Monday evening. They were very clear that this was a tool being opened live to the public and that they don't expect it to be 100% working until the 18th.
