I love it, but part of me still being able to watch it stems from the fact that I watched it a lot as a kid.

I found tron to be mostly entertaining. Best movie... stretching it a bit there. Over all, a good flick though.

For what its worth, I fucking love Tron. Yes, its goofy and rather campy, but its also damn awesome, especially for its time. David Warner is the shit.

Now, another movie kind of (okay not really but still) in the same vein that is also campy bad, but also, really, really, REALLY good on an epic scale is Logan's Run. Any sci-fi fan worth their salt should see this. (And when you get confused by a certain part, that you will know when you hit, read the book and thank God they didn't leave the whole scene in.)

Tron is awesome. Kinda dated though, so you kids today might not appreciate it..

Tron 2.0 should be awesome.

My Dad made me watch that once! It was really good but after awhile it seemed waaay too long and the story had gone completely off of what I thought it was originally about. I think I ended up falling asleep.

^ It does get a little long, especially if you aren't seriously paying attention and following the small scraps of plot that are there to understand. Its well worth the effort though; as disjointed as it is, the ultimate message is pretty cool, and makes a great movie out of an okay one. (Imho disclaimer, of course.)

I loved Tron, and I have it on DVD. One of my favorite arcade games was based on it as well. I still want to buy myself a computer from the 80s so I can do all the shit they show them doing. Hell, Weird Science made me think anything was possible at the time.
