School is what you make of it.

If you go in there every day complaining like a little bitch about how it's not fair that you have to learn basic math, basic chemistry, proper spelling, and world history, then you're going to hate it. But if you accept that this stuff is taught to you for a reason and that learning it will help you develop into a mature well-rounded person, and if you try your best, then it's not so bad.

Unless you look funny... in that case you'll hate it no matter what.

Me, I have a love hate relationship with school.

I was explained by a teacher that I'm a bit selfish when it comes to work. I only do what i want to.

That is a bit true. I only like to do work that i feel is necessary in learning. In my world civ. class i hate doing these maps. we have to write where each place in a country is on a map and then color it.

I'm okay with the labeling provided I can find it but i feel the coloring is stupid and most of the time just color the land brown and the sea blue. I may make some mountains green.

You don't necessarily need it to go anywhere in life, but your certainly cutting out a lot of options for yourself if you don't finish.

You didn't say why school sucks, just repeated that it does indeed suck and explain your justification for putting up with its suckitude. Perhaps if you paid attention in school your post wouldn't have the logic, capitalization, and punctuation errors that it does.

Sorry to be a dick, but you have NO idea how good you have it while you're in school, so spend less time bitching and more time actually learning something.

And how often are we going to get an "I hate school" thread, anyway? This islike the 10th one this year.

For some reason this forum attracts people that hate school, I guess.

No other forum I belong to or have posted in have ever had 'I hate school' threads.

How I long to be 12 again with no responsibility, only being forced to be in an office building till 3pm, and having the rest of the day to play video games....AND summers off...

I guess it makes sense that the forums on a website dedicate to the nostalgia of shit that happened 15 years before these kids were even born would be a haven for little kids whining about school.

I never said it made sense. I just said that maybe something attracts them.
Just free-thinking here, Jeebus. Quit cramping the vibe man. Disturbin' the flow.

This thread reminds me of a quote I read somewhere, I think by Drew Carey:

"Oh, you hate school? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called Everybody."

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

The original quote is:

"Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar."

I enjoyed school for the most part. To me work is just like school, you may hate it but at least you can talk to people and make friendships and whatnot.

Meh, I don't have much fond memories of High School. I always thought people lost their virginity around that time, and that was not my case.

Oh, in therms of learning, it was okay. But the socializing sucked. Whatever, I live in the present now. College and Air Force are great, for now.
