Come on. Nobody here got suckered into the 3DO. That system was the biggest waste of money there is. Of course I bought the PS3 for slightly less too which proves I didn't learn. Oh well, my three most expensive purchases are the Megatouch machine, my Mrs. Pacman/Galaga machine, and my Mello-Yello Q-Bert machine.

P.S. If you play Mello Yello Q-bert on MAME you are actually playing the rom I dumped. I actually contributed to MAME, which is nice since I have abused the hell out of them.

PS2 for 300 bucks.

Which I'm not sure I ever actually finished paying for.

If SearsCard calls, tell them I'm not home.

Game-wise, probably WoW (no expansions, played for about 6 months). I will say that WoW is worth the money, but I don't miss it.

My most expensive purchase probably was only for about sixty bucks. The game: Shenmue II (EU). I had a dreamcast and didn't want to drop 200 bucks for an xbox and Shenmue II. Though it was worth it to me, it was a huge disappointment because it is incomplete as the Shenmue saga probably will sadly never get finished.

If I wasn't a pennyless kid when it came out, I would have happily dumped $800 on a Neo Geo AES.

I keep hoping it will get finished. That was one of the best games I ever played, and they could do so much with it at this point. It's like having the last pages ripped out of a mystery novel.

Props for owning a Dreamcast. That was a great system, but sadly it went the way of the dodo. I still have mine hooked up.

(Premium Xbox 360 + Two used games) x From Gamestop = $470.

Later that day, I cursed myself, as I found out that if I had only gotten it from Best Buy (which I had actually visited before I went to Gamestop)...

(Premium Xbox 360 + Two new games) x Best Buy's Get-Two-Free-Games-Deal = $400.

Games: GTA IV, Saint's Row 2, and Street Fighter IV Collector's Editions=$80 each (Not bought at the same time).

System: 80 GB PS3 (MGS4 Bundle)=$500

Used/Older Games: Final Fantasy III/VI (Whatever)=$32, Pocky & Rocky 2=$30 (I still can't figure out why this game was $300 on Amazon for almost a year...)

Was I supposed to put something here?

The most expensive game I ever got was Spore... Got the game free as a gift but getting a repair guy to un-fuckup my laptop after the Securom fucked it up was $350.

Did you ever do a "total hours" count?

I'm pretty sure you can't do a total amount of time ever played. You can only do total time played for each character, and I've had over 100 characters, and most of them have been deleted. I've got maybe 2 characters still on the account, 49 Undead Warrior which I was hoping to get to 60 but I just quit the game : /.

I used to run a mod that counted the time for all characters. I didn't realize I had been running it the whole time. When I finished and was deleting WoW I found that it was installed and I checked it... 127 days across all the characters... I almost threw up.

Woah, like combined it would've amounted to 127 days with no sleep, food, or bathroom breaks? That's messed up, but at the same time I feel I owe you some respect.

You owe no such respect. It was a dishonor to myself to have wasted so much of my life.

But to answer your question, yes, 127 days = 24 hours X 127 Days.

It was over a period of 2 years. So roughly 1/6 of the time.

I'm not going to say systems because I thought this was just for games.

Probably any new 360 game I have bought, like Fallout 3 for 60 or 70 followed by Chrono Trigger for SNES, just the cart for 60$.

300 bucks for ps2 was the most expensive purchase. EB was nice enough to give me a new when it broke two hours later.

the most insane price I paid for a game was $49.99 for lord of the rings vol. 1 by interplay, dos version. still probably the best game of my childhood.

No, I don't think I will fuck Stummies.

Funny little fact... I bought that game for a dollar, and it came in a pack with other horrible pc RPGS.
