I think if Apple is serious about a console, their prime target is going to be the Wii and it's fanbase.

Which creates two head to head rivalries, which I don't think is a bad thing.

Sony vs Microsoft in the Hard Core systems.
&
Apple vs Nintendo in the Family Friendly systems.

Well yeah but apple isn't exactly known for it's low prices so the wierei would have the edge there

I kind of thought that consoles were in their cyclicle phase out. I wasn't that impressed with ps3. I never got into XBox. Wii looks fun, but I don't consider it a real console. I moved to the PC about a year ago and haven't looked back.

I don't buy apple products because I can get the same thing in a cheap asian knockoff, but I do respect their product design and quality build. I have to imagine that they would come out with a kick ass console, but I'm just not interested right now.
