The Stryker thing is like Bullseye spearing the fly against the wall of his hospital room in the middle of Daredevil's credits. The actual ending things are Sake-shooting Wolvie and resurrected Wade.

People sat through Daredevil's credits? People sat through Daredevil itself?
Deadpool confirmed? Fuck yes, they better make him don some resemblance of his comic costume...
Now that he's all fucked up, it's likely they'll have him wearing a costume. The only problem is they're going to need to come up with some total bullshit reason why he doesn't have everyone else's powers anymore.

Well he was always said in the comics that his healing factor was stronger than wolverines so it could have forced out the other powers. And there is also the " the bonding process is not complete" line

In the movie I get the impression he has Wolverine's stolen healing factor though, not his own. Also, Nitro burned Wolverine until he was nothing but his metal skeleton, but he was able to regenerate from his bone marrow, so I don't know how much more powerful it can be unless they're going to bring in the whole thing about Deadpool having cancer, which is unlikely since his appearance is now related to surgery, not cancer.
But yeah, there is the "the bonding process is not complete" line. Fucking cop out.
So I saw it. I thought Deadpool looked fucking awesome, and this was confirmed for me when I got the good ending. Other than that, I thought the characters were really well done (Liev Schriber is a better Sabretooth than Tyler Mane ever was), but the whole story was very rushed.
Okay, i was going to read everyone's comment before giving my stick on the Wolverine movie (which i just saw not 5 hours ago) but then i saw this Boo's comment, saying it sucked and posted a very humorous running gag pic the movie did suffer from.
I'll comment now since i can't hold it in anymore.
Okay, now i thought i never say this, it was no Dark Knight but it was no Batman and Robin, it was somewhere in the middle closer to Dark Knight though.
Now i'll admit, i have not read any Deadpool or recent X-Men comics, and i'm only vaguely familiar with Wolverine's origin through wikipedia. To be honest, i liked this film because it stayed connected with the previous movies and explained a lot about Wolverine's backstory that the three X-men movies (mostly II) left open ended.
I'm not as close to Wolverine's background through the comics as i am with the Batman Mythos so, the Snark in me bares dull fangs.
I had low expectations from the start and was satisfied. Three things about Wolverine that i wanted to see:
1) He has healing factor, making him borderline indestructible
2) He has metal claws and bones, which make him even more indestructible
3) he kicks a shitload of ass and gets his ass kicked a shitload of times
If i'm not mistaken, in the comics Logan gets shot up, decapitated, chewed up, ripped in half by the Hulk, and gets the metal bones fucked up by Magneto. So it would not be a wolverine movie without him taking a bite out of a beating sandwich.
It was entertaining and i think it makes up for Spider-man 3 and X-3, both of which should have been thought through more and not rushed. Wolverine will break no grounds but at least it will bake few brains, as long as their turned off of course.
A few questions:
is it true that deadpool lives and there will be a dp movie? I was going to stay but left and ironically a comicbook geek i met in the book store told me there was a resurrection scene of deadpool at the end of the wolverine credits.
is victor Sabertooth? The way he acted, I want to say he is but the first X-men movie makes it seem like they just met and want to beat each other up.
will the Magneto movie be a tie-in with this one? If i'm not mistaken, doesn't wolverine save Magneto from the concentration camp, so that would be a tie in moment.

Yes.
Yes.
Probably not. I'm sure there will be some sort of reference or slight tie in (maybe even a cameo from Hugh Jackman), but it's probably going to be it's own freestanding movie much like this one. And IIRC, the Magneto movie is going to have a different producer which makes it even more likely to distance itself from the previous films.

I got the whole wolverine saving magneto thing from the 2nd animated movie (the ones thats more anime) and it could very well have nothing to do with the comic.
But i'm very unfamiliar with deadpool, is he a comical character like this video implies:

That is EXACTLY Deadpool, and that was awesome!
Deadpool also breaks the forth wall like that in the comics as well. He is considered insane, and when he talks about being in a comic, the other characters just assume it's part of his insanity.
He is awesome, and Ryan Renolds did an awesome job with him. Too bad when he returns in the 2nd half on the movie he sucks. Though, there is always hope.
Deadpool was also awesome in Marvel Ultimate Alliance:

Ok, so when I first saw Deadpool all fucked up at the end I got excited. He looks fucking rad-ass. But I was really upset about the mouth thing. But then I saw the good ending. I think you guys need to see the good ending, because it'll remove all fears for Deadpool's character.
I guess for me it's like what Dcompose said "I went in with low expectation and thought it wasn't too bad" Maybe i should enter a movie with low expectations from now on and maybe i'll have a snark free movie summer.

Stayed connected except that when Wolverine and Sabertooth meet they don't know each other. Oh, and Cyclops has no idea who Wolverine is either. And Magneto didn't show up at the end of Wolverine even though we see that he and Xavier used to go around together to pick up mutants, and Magneto would be especially interested in saving the kids from Weapon X since his fucking son, Quicksilver, was in there.
But other than that, and a lot of other stuff I didn't bother mentioning, it stayed connected with the previous movies.

to be fair, magneto doesn't have a son, as far as moviegoers know. cyclops didn't see or interact with wolverine, so unless there was word of mouth, he didn't have any reason to remember him

I just saw the movie last night.
I agree a lot with ReeperTheSeeker.
I'd give the movie a solid B. I don't read comics anymore and I don't give a shit about what rules and lore they bring. When I go to the movies I just want to be entertained. I'd say that this movie was mainly entertaining. I didn't feel a huge connection to any of the characters and that is why I never really felt it deserved an A.

Holy shit, I watched all three episodes (though I had to go find Episode 2, good embedding there bud). That is EXACTLY what Deadpool should be like.
I like Ryan Reynolds, and maybe I'm typecasting, but when I think Deadpool, I don't think Van Wilder in a costume with guns.
There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.

Ryan Reynolds was exactly like that in the beginning of the film. They need to take that personality and put it on the end Deadpool's body with a cool costume. Done.
