Recently, companies have been throwing classic games on to game discs as extras for the fans. Rampage: Total Destruction came with the original Rampage and World Tour on it and Pac-Man World 2 was loaded with unlockable Pac-Man games. With the rise of console download services such as X-Box Arcade and Wii Virtual Console, this practice could come to an end. That would be super gay. There's no fucking way I'd ever pay $5 to download Pac-Man, nor should I ever have to.

I personally boycott the company. Not that its much of a sacrifice. 95% of their stuff is overpriced crap, and the other 5% is probably a fluke that will be quelled shortly.

If they somehow fuck up Command & Conquer 3 (which shouldn't be possible, since C&C fans have basically given them a roadmap of how to make the game succesful), I'm off EA. For good.

I'm not saying that they haven't had some good games. I'm saying what RobotGumshoe said: It's probably a fluke, and will be quelled shortly.

I don't know about money, but I'm damn glad MGS3:S came with Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

Now, them's some good sports games, 989. I hate how they got killed by that "Exclusive-Licensing" crap.

Yes! Syphon Filter was actually kinda neat.
And extras? Pf. Learn how to emulate.

Whenever possible, I prefer playing the classics on a TV screen instead of a computer screen, preferrably with some sort of Nintendo or Playstation controller. So when Sega issues something like the reasonably prices Sonic Mega Collection, I'm inclined to buy it, even though most of the ROMs are on my computer anyway. But when Sega issues a $20 port of Sonic The Hedgehog for the GBA, I'm inclined to tell them to go fuck themselves.

Apparently, that port is as buggy as hell, too. It actually has slowdown. Why the hell it has slowdown, I have no idea.

I read that in Nintendo Power. When a game manages to get a bad write-up in Nintendo Power, you know it's not worth buying.
Then there's the priniciple of the thing. Paying $20 for a 25 year old video game that's already been ported several times is teh suck.

In-game advertising and microtransactions are the next step in ruining games. Advertising and sales are a fucking virus that will infect any sector they can.
