Recently, one of the kids at my school decided it would be fun to smear his own shit all over the walls of the boy's toilet. The administration have no idea who did it, but decided somebody needed to be punished anyways. So from now on, NOBODY is allowed into the bathrooms for ANY purpose. I hate group punishment like this, because if somebody is going to smear their own shit on bathroom walls i severely doubt they would care that everyone else is suffuring for what they did.

Anyways, thoughts on this? Group punishment? Shit Smearing?

O.o What are you in like middle school or something? Seems that punishment would cause more problems than solutions.

My school has a similar situation, expect instead of shit smearing, it is tagging. Sometimes they leave it unlocked, but they never announce if it is unlocked or not, so it is always a guess if I get to take a piss or not. Fucking idiots

My school is a combined middle school high school, though the staff seems to have been brought in from an elementary school in like, Uzbekistan or somewhere rural. Most of the middle level behaves like a gaggle of mentally ill chimps, though the fellow high school kids are okay. We're all pissed of about this, especially since we had a kid piss himself in the middle of class the other day.

Something like this happened when I was in middle school, with smearing shit in the bathroom. I don't think anything came from it though. But group punishments suck. I remember in 6th grade my entire table had to stay late because two of the students were misbehaving but they kept the whole table late. The tables were actually four desks put together but it sucks to be punished when I did nothing wrong at all.

I think denying children a restroom is illegal. How I would solve the problem is simply to monitor who goes in and out and check it frequently.

I do not think the idea of a "group punishment" is entirely unfair, though. It's also not so much a punishment as a preventive measure. They're also doing it in the hopes someone rats another person out.

One of the students in our school broke a pepper gas can in the locker room. We couldn't get to our jackets and shit for hours.

And one of our students showed up drunk for class. He was hiding it pretty well until he called the teacher an "old fuckfaced whore" (loose translation) and puked on her desk. He got expelled.\

And my friend tried to xerox his ass, but when he sat on the xerox, the glass broke and his ass got all bloody and shit. So not only he can't sit at all for the next two months or so, but he also has to pay for a new xerox.

Both of your points here are correct.

1. It is illegal to deny school children a bathroom.
2. It is being done so that non-participants will turn on the person who misused his/her excrement.

Funny enough, the punishment is illegal even for the person who "did it".

The worst part though is that the kid who did this was smarter than the administration. It isn't that hard to catch a stupid kid. There are many ways you could do this short of DNA sampling.

Start with the simplest, a reward.

School systems are failing. When i was in 4th grade we had a bomb threat. You know what was done? The teachers spent 20 minutes looking for a bomb and we all had to stay in school

Agreed, and agreed. Denying kids the right to frigging have a bathroom is insane, and my ass would be complaining to the admin so fast it would make their head spin. And if they didn't listen to me, I'd send in my parents. No reasonable person can think that that's a solution to the problem. (Do they at least let you use other bathrooms in the school? I assume so because otherwise it went from stupid to plain fucked up.)

As for thoughts on group punishment...all I can say is, never go to boot camp lol. Or do, and then you'll get used to it real quick. Laughing

agreed man, fully. I'm willing to bet that there are people who know who did it,someone wouldn't do something like that without calling attention to himself for it, offer everyone like 20 bucks for the one who turns in the Crapmiester

My high school locked the bathrooms when someone was drawing cocks in them and signing it as "The Dick Riddler".

We had to sign in every time we wanted to use them.

UPDATE: Now, they're letting us go to the bathrooms, but have to go down to the front offices and get two special keys. Also, you have to sign in on a clipboard with exact times you got there and left. It's still annoying, but now we don't have kids shitting themsevles in the middle of class anymore. The fact that they even did this still pisses me off though.

Back in high school, some guy thought it was somehow funny to smear his own feces across the bathroom walls. Only immature idiots find that kind of crap funny, I wouldn't have minded finding who did that and strangling them.

Also, I hated those guys.

Some kid did that in my high school. After lunch, they had an announcement over the PA asking whoever did it to turn themselves in so they can send him to a counselor.

I know what you mean. In my school we have a teacher who always inflicts mass punishment in the hope that the people who misbehaved will be ostrizied from the group, yet it only succeeds in uniting the students against her completley ignoring the fact that they were the ones that were acting up. Regardless, mass punishment suck.
