I bought the game God hand for the PS2 about a month ago. I was so busy that I never even bothered to touch it. However today I finally got some freetime and I worked up the effort to hook up my PS2 and start playing it. I was amazed. I haven't played a game this fun and challenging in ages. Not only that, but even when I die I at least felt like I accomplished something. The game makes me feel incredible, it's so fun to find new ways to beat up my opponents, not only that but this game has a good sense of humour as well. Has anyone here played this game? I have to say that I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

You need to be playing shadow of the collosus Andrew Man. Its worth the experience, love it or hate it.
As per Neutral-Bob, dear god yes God Hand is one of the best beat em ups on the PS2. The game is bleeding hard, even on normal, but even at the top level you develop a sorta rhythm that never makes defeat feel cheap. Its close range nature and tiny window of a standing dodge make the fights faster and meaner, making God of War look like a wimpy pokefest. One of the best boss fights ever is the fight with Devil Hand, its badass nature plus "Devil may Sly" playing in the background makes the fight afterword a bit underwhelming by comparision.
Killer 7, Okami, God Hand, how in gods good name could Capcom kill clover?

sadly, good doesn't always mean profitable. Viewtiful Joe was Clover's most successful game I believe, and even that didn't sell amazingly well despite being a good game. The good news is Clover's spiritual successor, Platinum Games, still has released a kick ass games in the form of Madworld and has more on the way.
Also, Killer7 was a Grasshopper Manufacture, Inc game, not Clover

I bet you would love Madworld on the Wii. Its gameplay is very similar, and very over the top. The controls are quite satisfying as well.

I beat Killer 7 some time ago. My shots never seemed to register when I struck their vital points with any of the gun-using characters so I was forced to use the Harman that threw knives. It was still a good game though, and I loved getting Masked Harman's new costumes and the Demon gun for the Harman in a three-piece suit (Sorry, I forgot his name). The people who made Killer 7 also made Contact for the DS, which was a really good game as well.
It's a shame that Clover had to shut down. Both Okami and Godhand now rank very high on my list of favorite games to play. It's times like this that I wish I had a Wii, I've heard about Madworld and it sounds really fun.

Oh yea. It was made by platinum games, which is the reformed Clover studios, they are fantastic.

It's good to know that they reformed into a new group. I look forward to seeing many new games from them.
