Honestly, I'm only sharing this so I can finish reading it later without having to search all over the place for it. But hey, everyone loves top 100 lists. Check it out.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: DuckTales is grossly overrated.

How did clerks make this list? That show is beyond terrible. There is only one cartoon I can think of at the moment that is worse, Captain Planet, to their credit it's not on the list. It was probably # 101.

As much as I question some of those choices, Thindercats is on there and that's enough for me. Should be higher imho of course, but its there.
THUNDERCATS....HOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I swear to God, when I finally get commissioned and get my own platoon, that is so going to be our motto. Just imagine...my platoon sergeant calls 'Atten-HUT!" and thirty or forty people snap to attention and yell, "THUNDERCATS, HO!" God dammit that would be awesome.

I wore my Thundercats shirt to school the other day and my History teacher told me that his basketball team used to yell "THUNDERCATS, HOOOO!" as some sort of signal or something.

Where the fuck is EXO-Squad!?!
One of the most mature and best written cartoons of all time!
Also, to me it looked more like a list of, "Can we acually think of 100 cartoons?" then a coherent list, arranged and ordered by merits.

When I was younger, I would not admit I liked cartoons or other forms of immature entertainment. Sometimes genuine (spite and good taste kept me away from Power Rangers and the Pokeman cartoon), and in the case of the thundercats, it was a deep dark secret. Such an obviously cheesy mishmash of a show would surely demolish my mature facade.
Now that I'm older, I can enjoy it in the full light of day, cause its retro college hipster style. And I'm mature enough that I can bear not being mature in public, if that makes any sense.

Thundercats also has a cool logo that has withstood the test of time, and still looks sharp and fresh, even by today's design standards:

God damn that's a sick rendition of it, too.
I hope to god the long-rumored live action Thundercats movie gets green lit. That would be so amazing to see.

Be careful what you wish for. It might be the next Michael Bay shitstorm on our childhoods.

Yeah, that was just retarded having a separate page for each entry. Plus, I think TVGuide did this years ago.
Plus, the rankings were all messed up outside the top 2.

The top number one animated show is Bruce Timm's Batman series. The simpsons is trash.

Was the 1987 TMNT series on the list?
I hope its not too high because i recently went back and watched the first season and realized it was better through the eyes of a child.
I concur. Looking back, the video games were the best part of the franchise back then. Also, why do they keep calling it the 1987 series? I thought it premiered in '84.

It's like that for all kids cartoons. Transformers is laughable now, and if I catch an ep of Batman, Superman, X-Men, or Spider-Man TAS I laugh out loud at the cheesy dialogue and the delivery by the voice actors.
87 sounds more accurate for TMNT, I remember it being in the late 80s/early 90s, getting into it when I was done with Tranformers & He-man.

1984 is when the TMNT comic began.
1987 is when the TV series started airing.
jprime, please die, and I agree with Jeebus, I need a cliffnotes version of the list so I don't have to sit through 100 pages of IGN sucking on the shows' dicks.
I'd been under the impression for years that the show premiered in '84. Thank you for the information, but I didn't deserve being told, politely or otherwise, to die.

I'm not going to be bothered to even click the link, but if all of these are on it...
Transformers G1
Rocko's Modern Life
Ren & Stimpy
Wacky Races
Biker Mice from Mars
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(Original Cartoon)
Batman: TAS
X-Men: TAS
X-Men: Evolution
Popeye
Looney Tunes
Doug(Original Nick version)
Johnny Bravo
Then it MIGHT be decent....
