I'm impressed, especially given when the movie came out. The attention to detail is very good too. Unless you were looking for them they'd have passed by as background without a second thought.

Yeah, but where are the flying cars powered by garbage? That would save me a crap load of time and money.

Pfff. Zac McCraken predicted the Debit Card. Or 'Cash Card' as it was called in the game.

I'm still waiting for the 80s diner too, besides the hover cars & boards.

I call B.S. on the Asian Invasion & the Slamball. In the 80s, with the rise of Japanese business, everyone just assumed that would continue forever, but they eventually reached a saturation point. The Chinese will be the same way.

Good article though. I've been thinking the past year how close we are to 2015 now, and that much of the less outlandish inventions are coming to pass.

Back to the Future II is a great movie. I agree, I want a hover-board as well. I just wish that the delorian would have stayed a successful car, those butterfly doors were pretty cool.

I was thinking about this very concept like a month ago, weird.

Also, that second list is great. I must say "Where the hell is my hoverboard?!" at least once a week.
