Others know them too - Syd, Black Zarak, Spanky, and Plethora, I would assume (of which only Syd is a participant in the brackets).
I'm sure there's people that don't post much anymore that everyone else can try to contact. Most people list emails or instant messengers in their profiles, or have email notification for when they receive PMs.

That sounds like more of a matter of knowing board members irl than "cheating", so Jeebus can tell people he actually knows to sign in and vote for him, so what? There's nothing saying Douche can't tell friends on the board he knows irl who haven't been on in awhile to do the same. Or, even if it's not actually irl, if Jeebus cultivated enough of a friendship with members that he can say that to them and have them do it, again, so what? I suppose my vote doesn't count then, since I'm friends with Jeebus and he told me to vote for him...

It's not "Hey, I know you IRL, vote for me" that's the issue.
It's "Hey, you haven't visited, posted, or done anything with the boards for 6 months...but log on and vote for me" that is the problem.

Then I don't know who he's getting then. The only people I could see him doing that for is me (already voted), Plethora, Syd, Spanky and maybe Kris Lexia. All of whom have been around within the past six months (even if Spanky supposedly left.)

It's funny how serious everyone is taking this popularity contest. I feel like I'm watching an episode of "Saved by the Bell".

I don't understand why it's unfair. They're forum members even though they lurk, their votes still count. It's just good campaign strategy to target them. |
Well it seems to me if you can just pull votes out of your ass then the whole campaigning and posting promos is completely pointless. And without that then where is the fun?

In all honesty can we even name 20 people that would vote for Jeebus, here or not?
Seriously though I don't mean to undermine anyone here but I honestly don't care. I'm not one of those that are pissed off. Like it has been said it's just a popularity contest, there is no prize. I did my promo, most liked it, it wasn't enough for a win. Case closed. I'm happy with my run, and all the votes I got.
I offered to concede because I really don't have the time nor the desire to campaign anymore, especially against 2-3 other people.
However I did challenge Jeebus to SMB3, he has yet to accept or decline the offer because it's not Magic related.

I had yet to accept or the decline the offer cause I was at jury duty all day, douchebag. And I don't even have an emulator or time, so I'm going to decline your offer.

Word.
And someone call somebody to get all that sand out of Jeebus' vagina, will you please?
Actually, with all the drama going on, I should probably add just so no one gets bent out of shape about it

I hope this is a joke and some people are just acting like they think it's a big deal...otherwise, well it would be kind of sad, frankly.
