Here are three things from when this thing was getting started Jeebus. A.) I edited two of YOUR posts in this thread ONLY. Not other peoples. B.) This is for fun Jeebus. C.) If you learned anything from the video...chill...the...fuck...out.

Campaigning: Follow the rules of the forums when promoting yourself. If you have any sort of powers that your opponent does not have (moderator status, chat room ops, wiki admin, etc), you may not use them to gain an advantage in any way. Blatant trolling and flaming your opponent should be done in NWO, if at all. And above all, don't be an ass. This is all common sense shit, yeah, but if I don't say it, someone will do it.

The Winner: ...gets nothing. Well, they can say they won. But that's about it.

One Rule To Ring Them All: This is all in good fun. Do not take it seriously. If you feel you're gonna take it too seriously, don't enter.

I hope you win actually cause I just don't care anymore.

The part I took seriously wasn't the competition, it was the editing of posts for non-moderating purposes. Yes I realize I then did that which is hypocritical, but I was pissed about that.

And I hope I win so we can finally have Syd vs. Jeebus battle since we didn't wind up in the same bracket this time or last time.

This type of shit just kills the mood of the competition and since stuff has already been tampered with, we might as well just clean the whole mess instead of having a smeared up clusterfuck of posts.

Maybe, but it seems more like an actual fight than fun play. Is this stupid competition worth it?

I get the impression that people's feelings are hurt. With nothing to win here other than a fun competition...

I don't know... I just don't like how this played out.

Well when I edited the first post his original post was directly under it quoted by slayer. The second post all I added was P.S. Vote for Douche. I was under the assumption that this was allowed given the rules since we are both mods. This was all in fun and I don't see what the big deal was considering it was limited to just this thread. I'm not going to defend my actions because its pointless. You guys are acting like I changed his post to say something completely out of line.

And Jeebus if you want to win and see a Syd vs. Jeebus battle try campaigning! I was looking forward to a mod battle with you and instead I get thrown under the bus as if I'm the fucking anti-christ. All this Jeebusbaggery is being caused by Jeebus being a Jeebus.

I would have loved to campaign, but I had no chance to really, because weekends are the worst possible time for me. When I saw this thread, I was on a broken computer at work with access to nothing but Firefox (and limited access at that) so I could create any campaign materials. Because it's the weekend, I then went about 48 hours without touching a computer.

I didn't see any of what you posted, but if was AFK. I'm not saying you are cheating as I'm beign assured by others that you aren't, it just seems a bit fishy without having the details available.

As has been mentioned I'm not cheating, I merely didn't start campaigning until now. And whether you're explicitly accusing me of cheating or not, bringing it up at all is definitely an underhanded tactic to garner last minute support for the opposition.
