But you can't tell me that a force-sensitive Jedi who can do things like suspend spaceships in the air needs to use two hands to hold a little piece of metal, no matter how heavy it might be.

Or they could have used two hands because using both hands and striking would cause a more powerful blow, potentially making your adversary lose his weapon.

I didn't post this for people to go "Oh, Maddox, ho hum." I posted it because I want people to challenge it. I remember when III came out everyone said it was great, but Maddox's analysis of "it's really not that different from the first two" is spot on to the point where I've refused to see it again." Dammit, I want someone to prove to me that Maddox is wrong on this!

I've read that the Lightsaber hilt is actually very light in weight but that the blade is fairly hard to control, that is why most of them use two hands. I believe I read it in a book that covered the physics of Star Wars.
