Holy shit, this game is killing me right about now. I downloaded it on the VC about a year or so ago and played it a good amount upon download. I got stuck on the third level because the game is so devilishly hard (pun intended?) and had to stop playing. Well anyways I came back to it last night and still could not beat the fucking level, all morning I had the same result as well. Some of the flying enemies are such assholes, some actually duck all your arrows, yet you cannot crouch and shoot or jump and shoot down wtf??

Its killing me, I keep getting so close but the controls are just wishy-washy enough to make accurate and timely jumps quite difficult, and the fact that you have to scroll vertically makes it so one fall and your dead. And don't you go thinking there is any sort of checkpoint, you get sent all the way back to the beginning of the fucking level UGGGGGH. I keep trying, but fuck!

I wouldn't say that it is necessarily overrated , its relatively too unpopular for that to be the case. Its a very challenging game for sure.

Kid Icarus is one of those games that's always fawned about as being so freaking awesome, it's one of the best games ever, why haven't they released a real sequel, and OHHHH GAWWWWWD Pit is in Brawl? I agree with this, But I think the franchise material is fairly cool and I would love an updated version on the Wii, as much as super challenging gameplay kills me, I love it.

Easier said than done. The enemies in those rooms always hit me at least once, their patterns are so fast and erratic, sometimes I get lucky but not usually. Also those enemies in those rooms take off much more damage than any regular enemies, its a gamble every time and I usually have to avoid them or I won't have enough health to finish the level.

Update: I finally beat that fucking level and am on a dungeon. These levels are easier IMO, no instadeath for falling.
