They've changed Facebook more times than I own pairs of pants.
And it wouldn't be bad as much if they'd leave some time to get used to the changes before throwing it at us like a greased up baby.
Well, it would be. but we'd have more time to bitch about it.

Fuckerberg has some grand 7 phase plan to rule the tweeners.
I am thinking about closing my Facebook account though. I never use it anyways and now it isn't even functional for what I would use it for. All I enjoyed Facebook for was planning events and getting in touch with people who I may not have had an immediate email address for. The chat isn't bad either when I need it. But I never fucking tweet or twitter or whatever.

Twatted, I believe. In the past tense, anyway.

I don't do Twitter.
I got a MySpace to keep in touch with less than 5 people and haven't touched it in ages.
I signed up for Facebook just to play D&D Adventure, but lost interest in that (and thus Facebook) after roughly 2 months.

He didn't need one though. It's already the fastest growing and most popular social networking site. Why would you fuck with something that isn't broken? Twitter consistently gets it dick sucked by the elitist tech community, but it doesn't have the userbase that FB has. Conforming to Twitter's standards does nothing but elicit obvious comparisons and give the competition free publicity. It's easily one of the worst marketing decisions ever.

Um... one reason... MONEY.
He believes that each of the phases will shift Facebook into a more profitable tool.
I must admit, on paper, he is right. But you can't be such a fucking asshole to your clients without them revolting against you. There are nicer ways to make changes than to shove them down peoples throats like this.

The funny thing is he pledged to let users vote on any changes before they take hold... starting next month. So now he's forcing through changes before that date.

He should just rescind the offer and look like an ass now before he doubles back on it while it is in effect.

Wanna hear the worst part of all of this? The new changes have increased membership. Increased membership has boosted Zuckerberg's salary.
That mother fucker is worth three billion dollars. With a b. Billion. As in 1000 x a million. Three times over.
Oncology researchers in the Philadelphia area average $61,000 per year. For a little perspective, that means that each year cancer researchers in Philadelphia make .002% of what Zuckerberg is worth. That means it would take about 50,000 years for an oncology researcher to make enough money to equal what Zuckerberg is worth.
The terrorists have won.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

I hope it doesn't take 50,000 years to cure cancer. But if it does, at least they can all rest knowing that Zuckerberg had been dead for ~49,925 years and died an asshole.

I have a Facebook but I don't like it. I have noticed that Facebook is alot more uptight than Myspace was, everyone on Facebook seems to be on there best behavior because their sororiety friends or church friends.
I still like Myspace better despite the horrible html you have to endure sometimes. I have found its easier to talk to people on there for some reason, it's hard to explain considering Myspace and Facebook are similar concepts.
for Zuckerberg, what do you expect, Tom sold out, why wouldnt Zuck?
If Rupert Murdoch came in and offered 683 million for SydLexia.com........
