I have Windows XP. I want to watch a movie on my computer and be on the internet at the same time. So I have the window with the internet maximized. I have the window with my movie on the top right corner of my screen. Is there any way to keep my movie window over my internet window when I click and scroll around on the internet window?

Make your internet window small enough that it doesn't overtake the movie player, I think the movie player should still play if you have something else highlighted...

VLC has an "Always on top" option in the video preferences tab on a Mac.

What program are you using to watch the movies? Some players have that option built into them. There are also several freeware programs you can download if you are watching them in a browser, such as Power Menu. That will allow you to lock the window as well.

Sweet, you suggest this program GP? Is it standard for Macs?

Tile your windows.

VLC is a great utility that runs on Windows, OS X, and most Linux distributions.

I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants a media player that can play most content.

It is a free software that comes with no bundled add-ons. In my book this gives it bonus points.

I also live by the VLC, the only problem I had with it was playing 1080p HD files, but 720p HD works fine. Anyway, I haven't found anything better yet.

Agreed. VLC is the best, most versatile video player available right now. Also, it has an "Always on top" function that does exactly what you're wanting to do Deku.
