So, I stumbled across this page at IMDB.com:

They are apparently making a film based on the Neo Geo series King Of Fighters. I can't really find anything about the plot, but according to the cast list, these are the only characters to appear in the film:
Kyo Kusanagi
Mai
Vice & Mature
Iori
Terry
Rugal
Chizuru
Saisyu Kusanagi
That's about it.
There are no huge named actors attached. And, the only two I've heard of is Maggie Q (Who plays Mai) and Ray Parks (Rugal).
Anybody know anything else about this fim?

I love me some KoF, but I imagine this is going to be as bad as the Dead or Alive movie. In other words: Do not want.
It'll be interesting to see how this goes along, at least.

I love these games but there are games that just should not be made into movies, this is one of them.

It's going to suck at least as a KoF movie. From what I can see of the cast, there's little chance this well be using any of the real canon. Chizuru never appeared until KoF96, and Rugal dies(Twice) by the time she shows up. Mature and Vice don't actually fight until 96 as well, but they were also Rugal's secretaries. I can see them easily just making them a no-speaking role like Scorps and Subby in the MK movie, and perhaps fight Kyo near the end when he confronts Rugal.
Ray Park also does not fit Rugal at all, he's too short and not blonde. Also, from I've seen from his usual choreography It's way too speedy for Rugal, who usually overwhelms people with strength(And giant hitboxes). I can see him being like Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.

Scorpion sort of talked...("GET DOWN HEERRRREEE!!!") but yeah, the MK movie didn't do either of them justice, and the KoF movie probably won't either.

I'm probably going to see this movie in the theater (probably), but if I hear Rugal say "THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END!!", even once, I will immediately get up and walk out.

yeah, she would be closest in terms of upper body matching, but she might be too thick elsewhere in general. and w/makeup they can make her look asian w/out the use of CG

Well look at it this way, a movie based of a fighting video game probably isn't going to have an epic story line that requires actors with nuance and subtlety, I'd bet she'd do fine.
*God we're nerds, are we really discussing the possibility of a porn start acting in a fighting video game movie?
