Not sure if there was a thread on this, but the highly anticipated Wii title developed by Platinum Games (formerly Clover Studios, responsible for titles like Viewtiful Joe) and published by SEGA, Madworld, comes out tomorrow.
IGN gave it a 9.0 and I have been waiting on this one for a while. Everyone needs to pick this up so more third parties will make hardcore titles for the Wii.
I'm very excited for this. It's a shame that RE5 comes out on Friday and will probably overshadow it. But this has my money as soon as I can get my hands on it, whereas I'm not touching RE5 until I read the spoilers.

The two games seem very different, though they probably would target a similar audience.
Why would you look for spoilers?

The teaser trailer for RE5 shows Jill Valentine's grave. If Jill is dead or evil, I am done with Resident Evil and they will never get my money again.

But what if she returns as an attractive evil Jill Valentine, none of those gross zombie marks on her body. More of sinister look, similar to the main girl in army of darkness when she turn's evil...evil, but still hot.

Yeah, spoilers have been out for RE5 for a while now. Capcom gets leaked rather easily these days.

Alright I am going to pick this up now, I'll tell ya'll how it is upon shredding through some of it.
edit: God damnit, you gotta love how they always post the shipping dates and not the release date. The game shipped today and I won't be able to get it until tomorrow...
Shit man, I forgot this was coming out. I have way too much to buy.

GameStop's got a deal where trading in 2 games drops the price down to 19.95
That's not a really a deal. Nearly all of the games on that list would net you at least $20 if you were to resell them yourselves. The rest, like Ferrari Challenge and Deadly Hunts 2009, are terrible. And if GameStop's offering you $20 in trade for a game, you can damn well bet they consider it to be worth at $30 used.
Trading stuff in to GameStop is stupid. You should always offer your friends first crack buying your used games, cuz in most cases you're only going to get $5-10 per game from GameStop. If you bring in a stack of games, they normally give you a bulk price for all of it. If you ask them to break it down, you'll discover that you're only getting a dollar for some games.

speaking of which, amazon.com, best buy, and toys r us are going to try the trade in used games deal. anyone have any thoughts on who will probably handle this the best?

My bet is on Best Buy. Amazon's program is predestined to fail unless they send you prepaid shipping boxes for the games. It is also destined to fail if they do prepaid shipping boxes, but decide to do "Game Disc Only" to cut their mailing costs.

They have printed labels.
So no box, but you get a label.
The down side? They pay you shit for your games.

I just got it from Gamefly along with a few others. I'm looking forward to giving it a spin.
