I remember the first battle having some sort of rule that votes by new accounts would be deleted because of obvious voter fraud....

I'm gonna have to agree that there's something odd going on here (and so does SH, actually, in the chat room).
Syd, could you please verify those last few votes, or at least those last few accounts, came from different IPs?
I'm hoping that people aren't so lame as to actually do this...

There hasn't been a new member in 2 full weeks, and 5 in one day (One which is clearly alligned with Jimmy Lazer in some way) with no posts between them? That can't be any more obvious. I'd also like to note that these accounts were all created while I had a 3-4 vote lead

Dunno if he can verify IP's on new accounts or not as the admin, but mods can only see the IP on posts. I've contacted him to see if he can check though

Anyway, if there is confirmation of foul play, I'll withdraw in favor of Jeebus without hesitation.
In the off chance it is square, though...I must be the luckiest person on the planet. Or something.

Hmm, I have only been up for 30 minutes so that I did not know...
This whole thing is honestly way out of hand... There's no reason for a friendly little contest to get so heated and ridiculous.
And this creating accounts and voting bullshit is just throwing even more fuel on the fire...
Honestly, if this is the way everyone is gonna play, I'm going to have to sit the rest of this out...

Just curious, who did you discuss this with last night and in what fashion? I've actually been checking the memberlist through the forum battles, and I contacted Usa this morning because I knew this was going to happen at the last minute since a couple of the accounts had already been created.

There can be no hard proof via IP's, but I still think the answer is fairly obvious. We have people sign up and never post, but never that many in that short a period of time. It's far too anamolous to ignore.

Okay, Usa's still not sure he's going to accept this yet, but I want to officially post my blessing for him to DQ me and move Jeebus on to the next round. This competition is not NEARLY important enough to me, nor should it be important enough to anyone else, to warrant this shit. Good lord people.
So Usa, if you find another solution, more power to you. If not, Jeebus, I'll be voting for you in the next round. I'm pissed that it came to this on a general level, but no hard feelings towards anyone at all. Time to move on.

I'm going to accept Soldierhawk's concession. It's a classy move, I think.
I just want to say something.
If the new accounts are actually new people, well, welcome to the forums, but it's probably a good idea to announce yourself before voting, particularly in such a charged up thread. I'm sorry, but you inadvertently created a lot of drama.
If they're alt accounts of someone who was trying to push this over the top for their candidate, it didn't help at all, and if anything seriously hurt. It's a despicable move and I think everyone else agrees with me. And if it turns out we learn who you are and that you're in this contest, you will be disqualified...and I just might give SH your spot, seeing as how you may very well have lost her her spot.
To everyone: This thread was full of a lot of drama, both real and imagined, and it really came at a bad time. It was a perfect shitstorm, but that's the way things go with random seeding. I hope people aren't discouraged by a couple of people subverting the intent of this, which is to have fun and viciously mock each other until we pick a new Prom King (or Queen). And have fun. So if they're alts, good work, you may have ruined this for more than one person.
But anyways, I think it's a good idea if we moved on.
Dr. Jeebus is the winner, but let's fucking face it, both of them are winners, really. I'm going to request a lock on this, I don't think there's much more that needs to be said.
