After much thought I have decided to leave this place. I have pretty much came to the conclusion that I don't fit in here and alot of people have been total douchbags to me, this place has started to suck and I ask that Syd ban my username so I won't have the temptation to post here again.
I enjoyed the articles Syd and look forward to checking the main site every once in a while. I just dont want to be part of this community anymore in any shape or form.
please lock this and ban my username because i dont want a flame war to start.

I'm leaving because nobody loves me, but I'm gonna post this before I go in some vain attempt to whore some attention. At the same time, I'll call some vague undefined people douchebags and tell you all I think you suck.
People who really want to leave just leave. They don't try and generate drama.
Yeah, I know I'm being a "douchebag". But since you're leaving forever and ever and never coming back, it's not like you'll ever see it, so who cares? For what it's worth, I like ya.

Oh without a doubt what you say is true, I just didn't want to say it. As much as anyone wants to deny, that is what this is all about.
I'm not sure who the douchebags are because from what I've seen during my time here you seemed to be one of the more respected members so I'm not sure where what you say is comming from at all.
If you are leaving forever why not call out those who have done wrong by you? Unless this is just an attempt to recieve some "I will miss you, please don't go"'s.
At any rate, it's unfortunate to lose a legitimate poster.

During your time at SydLexia.com you have had some good posts, some bad posts, and some average posts. This, however, is the first one that lacks class. You insulted the entire forum community and blamed them for not living up to your undefined standards.
While I assume that you consider me a "douche bag" for writing this post, I suggest that you view things from my perspective. This is my most sincere reaction to your negative farewell and the only person to blame for your choice of words is yourself.
I wish you well, but I can assure you that you will find no satisfaction in your future endeavors if this is how you end each journey in your life.
There would be no dishonor or embarrassment if you were to respond to this thread with a more pleasant goodbye. I am sure that the people here would respect you much more for the final effort.

Long and short of it from my perspective:
Ermac, I thought you were an alright dude. Had some very decent insight on a variety of topics. Am disappointed to see you jet.
At the same time, I'd be remiss if I didn't echo what other people have said. Not so much toward you, but toward others that might behave like you. If you want to leave, seriously, just leave. Announcing you're leaving is like stomping across a room telling people "Alright, guys! I"m really gonna do it! Here I go!" Then turning around to see if anyone is listening.
If you wanna bolt, just man up and bolt. Don't look for reflex pity from people who may or may not have fallen under an umbrella categorization of "someone that might have done me wrong."
