I got the first two seasons of Dallas last night. All of the seasons were on sale at Best Buy for $20.

Did anyone here watch Dallas growing up? Most of my friends either didn't watch it or didn't like it. I remember one of my friends hated it because they only had one tv and his parents always watched it, so if you wanted to watch tv at that time, you had to watch Dallas. I always watched it with my parents or my grandparents and I always liked it. I only have about two or three friends that I know of that actually like it too.

I did, because it was on right after "The A-Team" on my Fox affiliate when I was a kid. I can't say I was a huge FAN (I was kind of indifferent), but I didn't mind it, and it was fun. Smile

I watched it a lot as a kid. I watched Step-by-Step because of Patrick Duffy. I watched I Dream of Jeanie (sp) because of Larry Hagman. I've been thinking about acquiring some Dallas as well. I'm not one for drama, but Dallas... I don't know, it has a special place in my heart, I guess.

To be honest, the only thing I know about Dallas is that it had that "Who Shot J.R.?" fiasco.

The great thing about that storyline was that pretty much everyone who was on the show at that time (as well as everyone who was ever on the show), had motive. It could have been anyone.

J.R. is easily one of my favorite characters in television history. He pretty much ruins someone's life in every episode.
