I had a nice course 1 run, but screwed up on the parasol in 2-6 and got a 4. I still like this run though.

I pulled of a run of 9 on the first course, but then completely screwed up 2-5. My best recorded course was a 28. Not so good, but not awful. I really though I could pull off a 20, but I just ran out of time. This was a great challenge.

This weeks challenge is Yoshi's Island: Super Mario World 2. There are 6 extra stages, Your mission is to get 100% completion on those. Meaning ending the stage with 30 stars, 20 red coins and 5 flowers. Bonus games are off-limits. On a brighter note all stages can be recorded individually. Extra 1-ups can be carried over.
Points will be tallied by:
An attempt - 5 points
1 Stage 100% complete - 6 points
2 stages 100% complete - 7 points
3 stages 100% complete - 8 points
4 stages 100% complete - 9 points
5 stages 100% complete - 10 points
All Six stages 100% complete - 20 points
Speed will be used as a tie breaker.

Tie-breaker could be for those who complete all stages. Like 1st : 20 points, 2nd : 19 points, 3rd : 18 points and so on.
Otherwise I don't see what it could be.

Like I said, I'm just trying out different things. Think of these last 2 challenges as homework. If you complete them you get full credit if you don't you get partial credit.

Fuck this recording thing... I beat 6-X 5 times, and it goes out of sync early on every time. I can actually ace this level nearly every attempt, now. FUCK.
Edit: Got a successful AVI, at least.

Is it ok if we finish a level, stop the recording, and then load up the save file again and record another level? Basically starting each level with no eggs?

Hard to believe it's already been 10 weeks since this thing started! Well I was going to come up with a challenge to do with Super Metroid, but I realized I didn't have the game. So I went with another classic. Plus this one is set up for competition. Don't believe me? Load the game and see what I mean. Your goal is to get as far as possible within the time limit. If it's to close to call points will be the tie breaker. The game will automatically stop at the end of the time limit so just hit stop movie record when thats done.
