So in the last few days, I've went through the first 3 Mega Man games. Today I'm playing this shit. I am having the worst time trying to get through these levels. The bosses aren't too bad. But I'm just getting my ass kicked.
Is this game really that hard or am I just burned out on Mega Man? I gotta put this down and come back later or else I'm going to have an nervous breakdown.

You're probably just burned out. I found Mega Man 4 to be easier than 1 or 2 and about on par with 3.

Top 100 lists notwithstanding, as far as I'm concerned, there's a six-way tie for best game on the NES and a four-way tie for best game on the SNES.
The latter doesn't include Soccer.
Regardless, fuck anyone who badmouths Mega Man in any way, shape or form.

I think I was just getting burned out. I left it on pause for a while then went back and breezed through the rest of the game. I think I was just getting frustrated on a few of the more difficult parts. I started to get pissed on the last fight with Wily, but I was still able to finish him off.
I'll probably wait until tomorrow or the next day to play 5.

That's really creepy. I'm doing the same thing, and today I played through MM4. Ring Man is a bastard. The last fight with Wily is a joke, it's the fight right -before- that that pissed me off.

When I was fighting the last Wily, eveytime I went to dodge the attack, the SOB was right above me and I would jump right into him. He wasn't necessarily hard. I was just having shitty luck. I actually did a pretty good job avoiding the attacks on the first Wily.

I never disliked any of the Megaman games, except for Battle Network 1, which makes me puke.

I actually liked it by the time I was done. It was probably my least favorite so far. But I still liked it well enough.

I hated three things in total.
1) The inconsistency and the overall shitty quality of Capcom's translation
2) Very primitive battlesystem compared to the other games
3) Having to wait 4.2 seconds to heal is fucking retarded - it should be INSTANT, DAMMIT.

The only thing that kinda sucked about Mega Man 4 was how your Buster stopped charging when you got hit. Other than that, it might be the best game in the classic series.

I'll admit it: I haven't played any of the Battle Networks or either (thus far) of the Star Forces since I beat them. Regardless, they were all still great games.
