If that's not sarcasm, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
The primary function of the list was never to introduce newcomers to the best NES and SNES games. It was a nostalgic look at awesome games presented by me and like-minded individuals.

Not to mention that games are more about gameplay than story. I've logged about 30 hours on Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and I've skipped almost every cutscene.

I can't stand people liking games. Any review that's doesn't flat out say "this game is fucking horrible" is boring.

I have never owned a PlayStation. By the time I got around to playing Final Fantasy VII, it was the PC version and it was Fall 1999. By then, the entire fucking world, including me, knew that Aeris dies. Did it ruin the game for me? Absolutely not.
If knowing the basic plot of a game, including a major spoiler or two, ruins a game for you, then either: 1) you are playing games for the wrong reasons and/or 2) the game (e.g. MGS4) wasn't very good to begin with. Simply knowing that Aeris dies doesn't ruin Final Fantasy VII because it ignores the cinematic depth of the scene and it ignores the emotional investment you have in the game and its characters by that point.

A long time ago my family rented Blair Witch Project and I accidentally spoiled the end during the previews.

They were stading in line while I was leaving the same movie. They looked like they were pumped to see it, so in passing I said, "You know (description of the end)."
One guy turns to his buddies and says, "That prick just said (description of the end)."
I actually hope he was the only one who heard me and was actually the one who spoiled it for his friends. I don't normally do shit like that, but I was kind of hyper and they looked like they had it coming.

I'm curious to know what game in particular your referring to that has made you this upset?
As some people said before, the games are like 15 years old and most of them you can pretty much predict the ending anyway. I wish I knew how to put in the "this is a fucking Joke" sig because this truly is a fucking joke!
