I saw it tonight and the most I can say is that it was okay. I was entertained, but it lacked something from the originals. I really can't say what that something is though. It might have been ambiance, nostalgia, or the lack of the ch, ch, ch, ch background music. Jason is more mortal this time around and not a lumbering zombie. He is more of a backwoods serial killer in this one. He fires arrows, runs, and does quite a bit more than I'm used to Jason doing. That isn't a bad thing to me, as it makes him more dangerous. It is just not hard to figure out who survives though. Its pretty predictable, but hell I liked it. I at least tried to be like an 80s horror movie (complete with unnecissary tit and ass shots). I would give it a B- or C+. I have fucked up taste in movies though, so my opinion don't mean much.
