Customer: Maxime
Me: Thank you, can I get the iPod's serial number please?
Customer: I'm not calling about an iPod
Me: What product are you calling about today?
Customer: An mp3 player
Me: And are you using it with iTunes?
Customer: No
Me: So, this is not an iPod? what brand of mp3 player are you using?
Customer: Sony
Me: So, you're neither using an iPod or iTunes? correct?
Customer: Exactly
Me: Sir, this is Apple tech support, why did you call us if you are not using an Apple product?
Customer: I thought you could help me get music on my mp3 player
Me: Sir, you would have to contact Sony for assistance with their product
Customer: Why can't you help me?
Me: Because we only help with iPods.
Customer: Oh, so what do I do?
Me: Call Sony
Customer: What is their phone number?
Me: I have no idea, you'd have to look it up
Customer: How?
Me: I would try to search the internet, maybe google or some other search engine.
Customer: A what?
Me: Sorry, sir I don't know their phone number. You'll have to find it yourself.
Customer: Ok, well bye
