What about you?

I think I've only ever lived in duplexes and apartments...

I hope to live in a house at some point in 2009.

Buying a house is going to be awesome.

My mother lives in a house, my dad lives in an apartment...for the most part, I live in a house. See, living in a house is all fun and games until your mother realizes that your basement is large enough to house your deadbeat sister, her deadbeat husband, and their deadbeat three children. DEADBEATS!

Craptastic duplex. It has fake window shutters nailed onto the front, a dryer hookup in the garage and a washer hookup in the kitchen. The carpet came pre stained, and the elderly lady who lives in the other half comes over at the crack of dawn when she locks her self out or forgets to pay her phone bill. She never once complained about all the noisy parties, which means she's freaking cool as hell, or deaf. Confused

Townhouse.....so I put house, but that's not technically right. It's closer to a condo than a house.

I live in a trailer with the wifey and my dog Milo and my cat Kitty. It's sweet, I couldn't really ask for more. It's double insulated, has central air and heat, an extra bedroom for my recording studio and another room we don't even use, plus a back porch, not to mention there are no neighbors within sight of the house or land. Also, we are renting to own it, plus the 2 acres of land attached for 250 a month. Can't beat that with a stick.

believe it or not there are Trailer Parks in northern california where you buy in and they run in the upper hundreds of thousands of dollars. A double wide is really nothing more then one of those prefab houses you see rolling down the highways. Not that it would be my first choice but I think I'de rather own a nice trailer home then force to rent and pay someone's elses morgage. Unless you're in a temp situation, Apartments just suck.

Unless, of course, you get free cable, there's a building with washers and dryers & a pool table & arcade games & a gym next to it, and a pool reserved exclusively for the residents of the apartment complex. Smile

House for me, a small one.

Lived on a ranch for several years, but it went belly up (bought out by Big Beef/Big Agro, not quite sure which), which is how I ended up moving back home, joining the Army and getting a teaching credential lol.

Well, I guess riding herd on kids and cattle are about the same...except I don't get to use my horse, rope or branding iron. Wink (Which is really too bad, especially the rope.)

People with twin should use a branding iron so the kids don't confuse everyone, just brand the kids name or first letter of his/her name to their forhead and presto!

I lived in a cardboard box with a fireplace once. One winter, it burned down though, which was too bad because I was going to sell it for ten bucks to the guy next door. Doubly good too, because I didn't even pay for the box! I've since upgraded to an apartment, which is nice.

It's too damn expensive to live pretty much anywhere in Northern California. You'd probably have to pay 700 a month for a refridgerator box, more if it's on a good street corner.

An apartment, completely owned by my family, which gives me total freedom when it comes to graffiti. I have half my walls covered.

I live in an on-campus apartment for the school year, and in a house when I'm back in Pflugerville. It's a pretty sweet gig.

I think I've only lived in a house, like, once in my entire life, and it wasn't even family bought-- my mom just moved in with a man.

So yeah, apartments for me.

I just got a house last weekend. Though we're only renting at the moment, but we have an option to buy. My wife has been painting and I'm redoing the electrical, which was a joke*. We figure we'll start moving everything in next weekend.

*Every wall outlet and light in the house were all on one single 15A breaker. I've since added another breaker for three new outlets, which will be the highest power draws. (3 computers and my server rack) I've also wired the house for CAT5E network. Four wall ports in the office, and 3 ports +1 Uplink behind where the entertainment center is going.

I've lived in houses my whole life until me and wife moved to Kansas. Now I live in a pretty decent duplex. If I ever get a divorce, I'm gonna move to Miami and live on a sailboat with Elvis.

I live in a house with a roomate right now, but I'm getting kind of old so I'm searching for a townhouse, condo, or nice apartament to live in on my lonesome. Only thing I must have is a garage, though I'm hoping for a two bedroom so I can have an oldschool gaming room, or a place to rent out if I get in a pinch and for some reason can't afford it on my own.
