I have a wireless mouse. I can turn on my computer and the mouse will be fine. Then after a few minutes it stops working. Everything else on the computer works. I switched batteries and it still does then. All I can do is restart the computer and it will work for only a few minutes.
 What should I do?

What model and brand is the mouse?
It should be listed on the bottom of the mouse.

Does the mouse have a reset button or anyway way of perform a technical reset on only the mouse itself? If so, you've probably already tried it, but it came to mind. In science, we always look for the simplest explanation.

sounds like it could be a corrupted driver. can you remove it from start/control panel/system/device manager?
see if that helps. it will reinstall the driver for you

I will get a wired mouse but first I want to see if I can fix this one.

I unplugged my mouse out of the port hub I had it connected to, and I plugged it directly in the usb in the back of the computer. I'm having no problems so far.
