I don't care for these kinds of shows anymore. I wish a new style of shows would come out.

There was a new Simpsons two or three weeks ago. It was titled "Lisa The Drama Queen".

I usually never watch the Simpsons on normal TV anymore, although I have most of the DVDs. As for Family Guy, I'm not really into it.

Same here. TV makes me angry.

The last Family Guy episode they aired sucked. It was just cut-away after cut-away. Also in the season 3 episode "And the Wiener is..." Peter just passed 4th grade. So how come in the last episode "Tales of a Third Grade Nothing." He has to pass 3rd grade? Wouldn't logic dictate that if he was in 4th grade in season 3 that he would have passed 3rd?

New King of the Hill and American Dad were both pretty great. I don't even remember the last Family Guy episode, and the Simpsons episode from a couple weeks ago was fucking terrible.
As for the cutaways on Family Guy, go watch Season 3 or 4 of the Simpsons; you'd be surprised how often they did that same thing. Just because they're doing it inside a thought bubble doesn't make it any different.

I still don't see why people have such issues with cut away jokes, it's still funny as hell, so what? Tell you what, when you have your own TV running for seven odd seasons, you can do whatever the hell you want with it, but until then...

I tried to leave my own TV running for seven seasons, but random blackouts prevented me from doing so.

Am I the only one who thinks South Park is on it's way to falling? I mean, seasons 10-12 were mostly great, but the ratio of bad to good episodes is starting to.. yeah.
Even though Family Guy's humor is random and "all over the place", I like it and the cutaways (most of 'em anyway.)

family guy is getting to be hit or miss for me. cut aways are funny, but sometimes a little too overdone (im looking at you singing scene in the road trip episode... even then, that wasnt a cutaway but whatev)
simpsons, ill still watch new episodes until the day it dies, but im not looking forward to them as much as i used to when i was a wee lad.

Scrubs does "fantasy" jokes all the time that have nothing to do with the main plot and Scrubs is the best show ever.
