If you wanna make your own Click and Point Adventure games check this program out.

Due to time constraints it would be more feasible to build a team, get a guy good at art work to do all the back grounds art and crap, someone for all the animations (looking at you Mugen crowd) and some OCD guy to do all the scripting.

My first Sierra game was The Black Cauldron, which was also the first game I played that involved a hallucinating pig.
There's a NES version of KQ5...is it the only Sierra game to make it onto the NES? If you review KQ5, it should be that one because Nintendo allowed a state of the art computer game (at that time) to be fisted into an 8-bit system. I bought it a few years ago. Saving and loading a game is harder than any puzzle in the game itself.

I own that version as well. Nowhere near as good as the PC counterpart (obviously) but still not horrible for a PC to NES port. Maniac Mansion was alright for NES as well.
Any of the ScummVM games are just amazing, and fully playable on modern machines, suprisingly. Even all the Sierra games work great with DOSBox, with just a tad trouble with Kings Quest 2.

Hell yeah! But the Xbox one from a few years back probably does not.

On the cart for NES Maniac Mansion, there's a yellow sticker that says, "See the TV version on the Family Channel."
There was a show on the Family Channel? That's so weird. I think a show on HBO could be pretty cool...Edna being all perverted and the kids blowing up hamsters in the microwave. But, the Family Channel was an odd choice.

The tv show had nothing to do with the video game unfortunately.
The only good thing about it was that it starred the comedian who played Guy Caballero in SCTV, and was the guy yelling "Jackass" to Happy Gilmore.

Yeah the show was god-awful, but I still use to watch it all the time. Dr. Fred turned into a fly one time and...well, hilarity ensues, I guess.

I still have KQ5 on CD for our old Windows 3.1 machine. I could never make it anywhere in the game, because I had no concept of saving at the time.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |
