Never been much of a drinker, but have discovered its usefullness recently, when shit hits the fan it doesn't hit as hard with the trusty aid of alcohol.
I never liked the taste and have been to lazy to wait and let it sink in, I like things instand so that's what kept me off the sauce before.
What is your favorite type of alcohol? I myself prefer beer but am looking for suggestions on hard liquor as I find it hard to come accross a type I don't mind.
Do you prefer the ones that go down easy but leave a bad aftertaste(that's what certain Gin is to me), or do you prefer to brave the harshness and relax when the good aftertaste comes?

I'm a rum drinker. Straight if possible, then a generous Proof well mixed.
Mixe drinks would land next since I have no preference after rum, except with tequila well in the background where it belongs
It's also called "Liquid courage", loosens you up to talk to that hot girl you've been too nervous to speak to.

This I know well ghandi haha.
I'm in an awkward situation with people I used to be good friends with but very recently am not, and we're in the same english class. Normally I would just avoid it, now I will just drink a bit before class, should be interesting in any event. I'm just using what the rents have in the cabinet, looking for suggestions on what to buy.
How much does it take to get you guys drunk? as I would like to set it up to a science where i pour as much as i need to get drunk and only that much so I get no hangover and make my liquor last longer.

For the record, I was a rum-aholic before Pirates of the Carribean Pirates just gave me a....hero
Everyone has different levels for where they'd be drunk. You just have to learn how your body acts. How alcohol acts. And where the line is. There IS the old adage "Practice makes perfect."
Food, time, and to a small extent, water, WHILE you're drinking can lengthen or dull the effects. The general rule of thumb is 1 drink = 1 hour through your system.

Yeah, there really isn't a science, just a lot of experimentation. My cousin and I hit the bar at least once a week, and we always get a pitcher of Bud (about 3 glasses each), and we have a good buzz for a bit, the kind of buzz that fades away without you noticing. If we're feeling adventurous, or rich, we'll buy a mix drink (ceasar for him, paralyzer for me) and that'll set us just a little further down the road. They really don't act as much more than a sweet thing after the beer though. Then some nights we'll get two pitchers and that usually does us pretty good. We get crazy, but still fine to walk home and/or deal with police.

I like my wine and cheap beer (Old Style). As for hard stuff, i like rum, whiskey, and various flavored liqueurs like hot damn 100. Tequila shots with salt and lime are nice, too I stay away from vodka because it tends to make me sick. If you're ballsy and if you can get it in your state, try Everclear. Make some jungle juice or a 3 mile long island. Look up some recipies online, the possibilities are endless. Just be sure to use all alcoholic beverages responsibly.

It's all about tequila. Either Margaritas, shots, or the LOVELY drink from Patron, a nice coffee liquor.

Not a fan of hard liquor. I like beer of course, but having grown up in a town that is surrounded by vineyards and has a good selection of local wines, wine has always been my favorite.

I don't drive so I don't drink responsibly.
Take a couple pils that don't mix with alcohol, done that the last 2 nights, mixed some 45% vodka with red pull and gaterade, now just gatorade, and have some Rum and Coke mixed up for school tomorrow, not sure how I will do with that, never really tried it, but I've got it down to a bit of a science in terms of vodka, what I have now is 35% so I will need a bit more I guess.
I like buckets of weed better but the shit dont last as long.
I never spent money on alcohol or drugs really, now I'm starting to want to buy it, I'm trying not to over drink because I don't want hangovers(thankfully I have yet to have a bad one ever) and I don't want to be overly noticably drunk because I live with my parents(am 17), and they would defiantely frown upon me stealing from them and getting drunk.

vodka and blue kool-aid.
Also, if you're not into big hangovers, avoid drinking 15-20 beers, then chugging all the Captain Morgan, Smirnoff and Fireball you see because you can't taste it anymore, and topping it off with an entire habanero pepper. Don't do that, unless you have the next 3 days free to lie in bed in agony.

I love beer, Molson to be precise, or Guiness. But when shit REALLY hits the fan (or when I just want to relax), I like Whisky (Jack Daniels usually, or Glenmorrangie scotch) straight up. Delicious.
Bailey's Irish Cream is the shit, too.

Best beer ever is Budweiser. It is indeed the King. Also, Alexander Keith's is the SHIT, and I'm not saying that just because I'm related to him.
The Captain and I have broken our ties, but we used to be best friends. I'm good buddies with Jack Daniels now.

You should try the Ninja Turtle....what you do is get about 3 parts gin (preferably Tanqueray if you can afford it), 1 part blue curacao, and some orange juice. This is essentially gin & juice but it turns green, thus the name and, hey, it looks cool! Depending on how you mix it, you can get that color of the ooze from the 2nd Ninja Turtle Movie.

Wow, it's good to see Keiths is getting some love in other parts of the country, I live just a few minutes from the Kieth's factory so I am well acquainted with his work.

Well Keith's isn't too big over here, just for me and the people I know, because like I said, I'm related. My grandpa even named my uncle Alexander haha. My grandpa drinks it religiously and I drink it when I can, and force it on my friends. Sleeman's is the big shit on this side of Canada.

I like Joose. Its a malt beverage that is an energy drink with 9.0 to 9.9% alcohol depending on flavor and has stuff like caffeine, ginseng and taurine in it. I like drinking it when playing a long session on Xbox Live.

Guinness, sirs. All about the Guinness. If I MUST go hard, it'll be either tequila, but more than likely Jameson.
I do not drink Jagermeister anymore due to an unpleasant, though comical, event on my 22nd birthday. I was drinking Jager shots all night, found myself outside, sitting against a post, having a conversation with some random stranger. I suddenly felt the need to puke, so I did, quite literally interrupting his end of the conversation. And with that vomit came a liberal amount of blood. However, it didn't seem to faze me, as after I'd unloaded the bloody contents of my digestive system, I went right back to my conversation.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |
