God. I have one of the worst illnesses I've ever had. It may just be a sinus infection, but it's somewhere between the time I has Bronchitis and the time I had Pneumonia. I have asthma, and I get sick. A lot. Last year I missed 22 days of school. I've missed 8 so far this year. I can only describe it as a sensation like coughing up electrified flaming acid-dipped saw blades. So is anybody else cripplingly sick?

I've been slightly sick since Saturday. I get this kind of cold at least once a year. Soar throat, cough and all that.

There's nothing more devastating than a combination of a pounding headache and severe diarrhea.

Think I have the same exact thing. Doc gave me zithromycin or something like that. Started today. I've heard that it's fantastic for knocking the crap out of bacterial infections, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

On Monday I was still sick and I felt like Edward Norton in Fight Club. Everything at work was distant and it felt weird. You know in the movie when he says something like "Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy." I felt like that part of Monday morning.

Geez, ThatGuy, I hope you get better.
You know, I've had strep throat roughly 55-60 times, and supposedly I could possibly have it a total of zero more times if I'd only get my tonsils taken out. Maybe that would help you out?

Eeh, It's just a sinus infection. I get them all the time, this one's just worse than usual. Also, getting rid of my tonsils would do nothing, as it's a sinus infection.

I'm a bit under the weather, woke up for the second day in a row with a bunch of mucus in my throat and generally feeling like shit. All the hookah I smoked last night probably didn't help. Ordinarily, the stuff's harmless, but it was my first time, plus I haven't smoked anything other than half of a cigar plus a clove and black and mild (few months ago), and I took about ten strong hits right off the bat, so it probably had didn't help my condition.
I hope I get better tomorrow.

That sucks.
But I wish I missed 22 days of school in one year. Maybe not at the cost of what you're going through, but still, damn, I get sick and miss one or two and my parents would flip.
Get well soon, buddy.

I was real sick about two weeks ago, and my nose still hasn't completely became unclogged.
There's a stomach flu flying around campus that I got about two days ago.

No joke, taking this stuff daily has reduced the number of times I get sick significantly.

What's a wolfberry? Anyway, the antibiotics are starting to kick in mow. I'll be fine in a few days or so.

I've had a pharynx infection once, and while it was quite painful to eat anything or breath too hard I don't think I was anywhere nearly as sick as you. I hope it gets better soon if it hasn't already.

Just be grateful you didn't get a three-and-a-half-week urinary tract infection like I did a few months ago.

I feel for the OP. I almost died when I was 12 because I'd contracted bronchitis and pneumonia simultaneously,

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

My grandfather had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance last night, because he couldn't breathe from a flare up of bronchitis. 30+ years of smoking Winston cigs'll do that to your lungs I guess. He's got COPD (pneumonia twice last month). Anyway, he's doing okay now but they had to give him 5 treatments to restore his breathing.
As for me, I will NEVER eat salmon patties stored in a can again. Despite all appearances that they looked fine, I was hit with an insanely bad bout of diarrhea combined with vomitting (simultaneously! I had to basically bend over the toilet while standing in the bathtub).

God, never had anything that, bad, but that SUCKS. Food poisoning is miserable enough when its just a bad stomachache. Ouch.
