Was anybody into this show back in the 90s during the TGIF craze? I would watch it every week at the neighbor kids' house and absolutely adored the series. It was always really popular here though, since they live in Detroit.
Any favorite episodes?

I love the show. I don't know if I have a specific favorite episode. I always liked the Bob Vila episodes. I still watch the reruns on Nick at Nite.

I used to like that show. Right now I just like watching Fresh Prince reruns.

I watched this show as a kid. It premiered when i was 11. I liked most of the Bob Vila episodes and the Christmas ones were pretty good also. Like when Brad and Randy took the donation money and bought themselves stuff but they got busted big time.

I liked the episode where Tim tried to make a machine work better by making it more powerful, but in the end he ended up hurting himself.

It's a pretty great show, although I always enjoyed the Tool Time segments more than the actual plot.

Tim's quest for More Power is hilarious. It stood the test of time for me at least. I remember they had a two-parter where they revisited all the Tool Time mishaps and it was priceless.
TBS plays 4 episodes from 12 - 2 p.m. here Monday through Friday. Needless to say, it's hard for me to find an episode I haven't seen anymore.

I actually never liked Home Improvement. I always got my quota of people hurting themselves/each other through the Three Stooges, and once you get past that, you get Tim Allen grunting and a generic family sitcom.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

I always thought Wilson was hiding his face because he had some horrible Phantom of the Opera deformity or something.
