You can't upload bitmaps to the internet.

I see it was the food one. I didn't know that was possible.

Why wouldn't it be possible?
You can assign any file extention to an image tag. The question is, will the browser recognize the format? These days, browsers are programmed to recognize a wide variety of image file types. BMP is a well-established format, so of course it recognizes it.

The problem is that your max rape demotivator has a BMP extension, but is actually a PNG file. That seems to confuse at least my Firefox, because it doesn't display the image.

It works if you go directly to the image, but it doesn't show up on despair.sydlexia.com. Tried it with Firefox 3.0.5 on both Linux and Windows.

I DID load the despair page. I can't load PNGs or BMPs directly. PNGs open in Quicktime instead of a browser, BMPs open paint.
#EDIT: Just CTRL-F5'ed to make sure it wasn't still cached from when it actually was a BMP; it's not.

Syd, you need to learn the Photoshop feature for saving web photos. It is in the file menu.
It will solve all of your problems.

I purposely renamed the PNG as a BMP because I didn't feel like recoding the pages.
