A TV movie is coming February 8th.
Why the he'll isn't David Duchovny playing XIII?

He doesn't have sex. He reads about other people having sex.

So this is a movie about that cel-shaded FPS on the GameCube?

Sort of. The game is based on a Belgian comic book from the 80s. Ostensibly, the movie is based more directly on the books.
But they totally should have gotten Duchovny and Adam West to reprise their roles from the game.
Plus side: Val Kilmer is in the TV movie.
Negative side: Stephen Dorff as XIII. Ugh.

So he can provide the voice for the video game but he is not in the movie? That's Hollywood logic for you.

Same here GP. I picked it up for like $5.99 or something and was like "YES! This game is supposedly pretty awesome!" I got stuck for some reason like 20 minutes in and never played it again. It now has about 6 inches of dust on it in my basement.

I loved the multi-panel death scenes if you scored a good shot. Those were awesome and super stylish.

I played this a bit over at a friend's house. Reminded me of GoldenEye, though I have no idea why.

The game gets better after the first few levels. if you get stuck just use a FAQ
And as said before the 3 comic paniels that pop up when you get a headshot & knive throw/stab is great
The 2 part tv movie had the flash backs at the stupidest times. Like it would flash back to a scene that happened 5 mins before.
