I'm not a "fan" of the Patriot Act persay. I don't think there are very many reasonable people out there who sit around cheering it on and are excited that such legislation was necessary. But I feel that it was necessary given the circumstances, and that is has not encroached on our civil liberties in any major way. But I am very disappointed - if not completely unsurprised - at how quickly Hollywood and the TV networks began to capitalize on our post 9/11 fears. I also hate the Wachowskis. This movie was touted by some critics as brilliant, as better than the original Matrix. Well, it wasn't. It continued their string of dumb crowd-pleasing trash that started with Matrix Reloaded and continues into present day.
