If you downloaded the "Death Magnetic" album for Xbox and PS3, those ten songs will play in their entirety in the full game mode. PS2 and Wii versions (coming in the spring, most likely in early May) will include "Broken Beat & Scarred", "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse" since they are not compatible with the "Death Magnetic" downloadable content.

CONS:
First of all, Ace of Spades, One, Toxicity, and Enter Sandman have already been released, so why can't we get more new songs? I really wanted to bang my head to "Motorbreath", or even "Through the Never." Also, apparently, Cliff will not be in the game.  It does say that the band members can revert to their younger selves, so MAYBE, just maybe, that'll mean Rob will turn into Cliff. Or maybe I'm just in denial. I also could live without "Frantic" and "Nothing Else Matters". As a minor note, I would have put a Budgie song in the game as opposed to say, Social Distortion (no clue on the Metallica connection there.)
PROS:
Just read the setlist! WAR ENSEMBLE! Even the Foo Fighters get one of their most kickass (and least known) tracks in the game. When I think of how many kids are going to be turned on to good metal because of this, I smile. But I smile even more when I think of playing Master of Puppets. What fun.

I didn't care at all about this game (not big on Metallica), but looking at the other tracks, especially Mommy's Little Monster, is making me itchy.

I thought The Beatles one was a Rock Band game. It doesn't really matter to me I play both Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

This game needed a Megadeth track , a Manowar track, and a Motorhead song other than Ace Of Spades (Damage Case?).

While the Rock Band guys got the rights for the Beetles, they're not going to make it a Rock Band edition, but more like its own IP.

I wish they had used "Save Yourself" from MSG.
I doubt Newsted is in the game either, and I'm pretty sure he was in the band longer than Cliff.
This game will be awesome. Unless it's a karaoke game, the Beatles game will suck. The only even remotely changing guitar line in a Beatles song was played by Eric Clapton, and Ringo is a terrible drummer. The Beatles were masters of sound editing and pioneers of production techniques; they were not good musicians. The Stones deserve their own game about 500 times more than the Beatles do.

I wouldn't buy this game. It would be fun at first, but most Metallica songs are relatively easy and I can't stand games like this not having a high challenge factor for very long. Most of the other acts wouldn't last too long either.

While I don't share your disdain for the Beatles, I will agree that the Stones are much more deserving of a Guitar Hero game more than they are.

According to the article I read, he's not either. He was in the band from '87 to '01, whereas Cliff was in the band from '83-'86 (Ron McGovney was also in the band in '82.)
Also, while I prefer the Beatles to the Stones, I will say the Stones would make a funner Guitar Hero game. (But the solo to "A Hard Day's Night" would be pretty fun, at least it is in real life.)
