My wife and I were at the store yesterday and wanted to pick up a 24 pack of Coke. But we were more than a little befuddled to discover that such things no longer exist. No, in its place is a 20 pack of Coke for the same price.
So rather than just increase the price due to inflation/recession, they decided to decrease the number of cans we get and... what? Hope we don't notice?
Fuck you, Coca Cola.

That's the most asinine, bullshit thing I've ever heard EVER. Fuckin' Coke. FUCKIN' COCA-COLA.

Do 12-packs at least still exist? If so, it doesn't really effect me then.

Has the price been reduced slightly? I mean, Diet Pepsi is a better choice anyways.

I don't mean to start the ol' Coke vs. Pepsi war here, but YOU ARE ENTIRELY WRONG. Diet Coke is godlike.
Oh, and hacker, thanks for the informative post. You really swayed our opinions on this one. It so does make sense.

Well instead of raising the price they just it down on coke they decided to do the opposite of other companies
Plus it in turn saves money for coca-cola because they save some money on the material
On a unrelated note did you know that they used to put cocaine in coke

I am guessing that people aren't drinking less coke. They are simply looking at this as an opportunity to milk a bad economy.
If people take anything from it, they should stop drinking as much soda as they normally consume. You don't need it in your system anyways.

Eh. As long as SydPepsia isn't affected, this doesn't concern me.

Some people like cans because you can through them in a bag and it is hard to hide a 2 liter soda from people in places that coke (or any soda) shouldn't be
but then again they do make one liter coke bottles that are relatively cheap and they are better than cans

So true. I have yet to find a bag that my gigantic 2 liter bottle will fit in. Plus it's so much easier to hide my cans of pop behind the milk when they aren't a 2 liter bottle. I found a can yesterday behind a slice of cheese

I would respect some of his posts a lot more if he didn't use a different word in place of a word he means to use, like "through" instead of "throw". I'm not jumping on him because he did it once, he did it in his not shitty posts too.

Haha, thanks.
Is Coke really switching to 10-packs too? They still had the 12-packs when I was at the store, but sometimes they're a little behind in getting the new stuff.

Thank god I can still get my beloved cubes of Mtn. Dew. Yes, the cans actually say MTN DEW now.

No, they're not really swtiching to 10-packs. At least, I don't think so.

Weird, they're all over the place. The 8 pack has pretty much replaced the 12 pack in the stores around here.
