It all depends. If you want to learn an instrument fast, do the drums. Unless you're going for the sweet, intellectual type of girl. Then learn guitar, but focus all your time on learning Queensryche's 'Silent Lucidity'.
Trust me. |
She's definitely smart. I get the feeling her major is something in that intellectual area(I'll ask her Monday). I've got some avenues ot learn, but if nothing else works, I'll just learn at the University I hope, by the end of the semester, to be in regular contact with her

I wish you intense luck my friend, but only if you return the favor for me and the girl I'm liking on.
Her name's Suzi, she's a redhead, and she writes for the school paper. All her articles are about how the bookstore and caf are overpriced or she writes movie reviews on Spinal Tap. She's very smart, book and street, and she's like...cynical. She's totally hot and TOTALLY intimidating.

I'll help you any way I can
She sounds like quite the catch. Writer is great, means she's creative. Movie reviews say a lot about her too.
I broke the ice quite on accident, have you done that yet?

In the most epic way imaginable
I was sitting in this chair between the newspaper office and the radio station. It was the most comfortable chair I've ever had the pleasure of placing my ass in. But anyway, some dude came running out of the paper and whipped a shoe into the radio station. She came out with one shoe on asking where the other one went. So I told her, and when she grabbed it I was like, 'You should kill him. I'll even help you if you want.' And she was all 'yeah ok, I'll come find you when I'm ready.'
So then I saw her later on (if I hadn't of forgotten something at school this wouldn't have happened), and I was like 'did you kill your friend yet??'
'I would've, but I couldn't find you anywhere! We'll have to do it some other time!'
So we laughed, and I asked her her name, and we shook hands (all of this was mid-walk).
It was awesome.

This sounds like you're moving along fine to me. Just got to catch her more often and talk to her more.
I've got one window before this class. I'm somehow missed the obvious questions that would allow me to put her possible schedule together(the building she's n most) and other meaningless smal talk details that would let me get inot her campus life more.
You can simply join the School Paper

I've considered. I'm actually gonna be getting a lot of play on the radio station, so who knows, maybe they'll want to do an article?

INTERVIEW! Requesting her as your interviewer.
Still, maybe this is making it too complicated.
Unlike my situation, is there ANY OTHER time you see her besides at the Paper when you're there?

We know you're promoting and working on your album. That's your in. Get the station to play it, and use it as an excuse to talk to her.
I know I'd work the angle as much as I could, screw your own success, there's a girl involved I've known some amazing girls in my time, and you can't let them go without a fight, so use whatever angle you've got.
Facebook is a huge step ahead of me. Though I'm waiting for a few times this semester there's a party and I'll see her there.
I think you know your openings very well, but may be too shy to use them.

I think you're definitely correct
One of my buddies actually sees her more often than I do, and he's starting a radio show. I just talked to him. As a strong supporter of Ross Rifle's music, he's going to say to her 'say, you guys should really interview Ross Rifle' So then she'll interview me, we can talk about writing and stuff, yeah!

The groundwork is set, preset even. At this point you don't need my advice. Perhaps, maybe, just verification this is indeed a sound path to try to go along with you're own ideas.
Obviously, if not already happening, request her. Don't push, you clearly like her, so let it move as it normally would.
You're just shy Take a theater class No really, work on this, put yourself where you think she might be, go that extra mile instead of relying on chance.
If you want her, you can have her, but it's not just going ot come to you, there's real work involved.

Anytime
My cruse is a good ability to give such advice but an inability to help myself in my own(as with this girl).
Granted, this is college, and I've got my eye on more than one girl, but of the 2 I gravitate towards, she's most likely to work out. Laughs a lot, beautiful smile, laid back, fantastic body, great eyes... you know the type

haha well obviously!
Yeah, I'm really fucking good with the advice too. I've helped probably every relationship my friends have ever been in. It's crazy. But it's like I've memorized the field guide, but haven't gone outside yet.

The key, Ross, is subtlety.
Walk up to her. Look her dead in eyes, your gaze piercing into the very depths of her soul. Move forward, bringing your lips ever so close to her ear, and whisper this:
"Baby, there isn't a single place on your body that I wouldn't massage with my mouth."
Double negatives make girls lubricate.

Until this week I never really thought of her as a potential. Cute? Yes. Hot? OBviously. Humor? In spades. I love laid back she is. After coming back fom class that Friday I gave it some thought. Wait. I can see her EVERY MWF! ...and... and... my God! she's fucking gorgeous!
*brain tries to think*
There's a start of something here, if only I get an opportunity to work on it... and that's where I am now.

Brunettes typically far outnumber the blondes I'm attracted to. "Favorite Musican" in my sig, is an exception to this rule. The unexpected floor you.
I asn't expecting her either, just simply got to, or near, class early and relaxed in the Commons room. She showed up and was insanely hot. I'd have been thinking for something to break the ice with until an obvious qustion(from someone else) came out. "Are you in this class?"

Ghandi, I'm with ya. Brunettes are made of win.
But make sure she's not the type of girl that plans an entire relationship with someone out the day they meet them.
I recently asked a very good friend of mine out on a date. She instantly assumes that I am madly in love with her and therefore cannot be trusted ever . We aren't speaking now. It sucks.
On a funny note, she did try talking to me once. She said it felt weird not talking. I demanded an apology. She told me to blow her.
She's fucking awesome. Bitch.

I hate those awesome bitches. I lost a really good friend lately, and I think it was because she had originally picked another guy over me but started to have feelings for me, so our friendship died.
Some of you guys might know her as Julie Ellen Snow? Yeah, that's over now.

That sucks. Sorry 'bout that.
Ironically, the night before I asked my friend on a date, she told me that she had a dream where we almost had sex. In return, I told her about a dream in which I went down on her in an elevator. It was a great, fun conversation.
Apparently getting tongue-fucked in public is less offensive than getting asked to dinner.

I barely know her right now
Obviousl, I need to work out some of that stuff, or throw caution to the wind before I move onward.
For right now though, I'm happy cementing any real realtionship as I do. I've still got 3 months this semester to wory about the more serious stuff
