I remember someone posted along the lines of this, but the GD forum gets too many new threads to bother combing through them all.

Anyway, what programs are there that'll let me take youtube clips and convert them into either an .avi, .mpg, or .wmm format? This is for an upcoming Spotlight.

VDownloader, Google for it. You copy and paste the YouTube URL into it and it saves the movie and converts it to whatever format you want.

That's cool. Thanks IceWarm, I'll have to check that out as well.

Go to the good will and buy an 80s camcorder, hold the camcorder up the the computer screen and hit record.

Take the tape to your aunt Becky's place who is behind the times and still has a VHS tape player.

Borrow your rich asshole stepdad's fancy new digital camcorder and take it to aunt Becky's.

Hold the digital camcorder up the the TV while the VHS is playing and hit record, be sure to smack the dozens of little brats running around screaming about how they want to watch Sponge Bob out of your way.

Take the digital camcorder back to your stepdad's and ask to put the video file on his computer's hard drive for now.

Go to Bestbuy and buy a flash drive thingie.

Download the video file onto the flash drive thingie.

Take the flash drive thing home and plug it into your computer.

You do not have the proper codecs to play this file extension in window's media player.

fuck. Mad
