Ugh, it's negative seventeen degrees here now. I wanted to kill all the people walking slow on the sidewalk this morning. I want to get to my warm office ASAP, damnit!
It would have been so much easier to use a sick day, but it's too early in the year to waste them like that.

In Texas, it's kind of the same way, but it doesn't just drop at night. One day, we'll be 70 and sunny, the next it'll be 30 degrees. Around finals time it was 82 degrees in the afternoon, and we got snow later that night. Snow. In San Antonio, Texas. What a crazy state I live in...

Same here. Its cause theres no moisture to stabalize the temperature.

Val you need a block heater for your car. If you don't know what it is, it is a device that they install attached to your engine block that does just that heats it up so that it is easier for the engine to start in such cold weather.
