I'm sure a lot of you (being both game and humor fans) have heard of Zero Punctuation by Yahzee Croshaw. Just on the off-chance you haven't...

I love the guy, and his reviews always leave me smiling if not laughing out loud. It might take an episode or two to get used to both the accent and the very, very fast talking, but its worth it.

Greeneyedzeke showed me about this a while back. I have been a huge fan ever since.
My favorite is the Oblivion one.

I've been a Zero Punctuation fan for quite some time. I loved his Too Human review. I for some reason found the part of the review with the Valkyrie to be hilarious. "A Valkyrie who is clearly in no fucking hurry..."
There was also a review for Braid where he said something like:

				| "Anybody who ever built an empire, or changed the world, sat where you are now. And it’s because they sat there that they were able to do it."

"Fighting in a basement offers a lot of difficulties, number one being, you're fighting in a basement."

He is the one of the few gaming critics that I still have some respect to. I love it how he always surprises the viewer in each video. He doesnt stick to any pattern.

That expresses very neatly exactly why I like the guy as much as I do. I don't always agree with his reviews (he has lambasted a couple of games I really like), but I can always appreciate his cleverness, irreverence and point of view.

I used to love him for the longest time, but his complaining has been getting old lately. I actually enjoy his positive reviews more now.
Also, his Game Damage show thing was one of the worst things I've ever seen. It's just him and two of the ugliest human beings I've ever seen just saying snarky obnoxious things into the camera.

If it weren't for a clip of that a friend showed me I wouldn't have learned he actually likes an MMO (City of Heroes).

I hear you on the positive reviews. His take on Portal is one of my favorites.

The other sounds...bad, though. Never seen it myself, not sure I care to now.

The segment of him talking about the rise and fall of the point & click adventure game and how the story telling element of those games lives on in genres like survival horror was interesting. I'd watch a show that is nothing but him talking about games, but the other two guys are just too bland and uninteresting and don't fit with his personality. Plus the skits were horrible. If a lame Duke Nukem Forever joke is all you can come up with for your pilot, you better stop trying.

Yeah, some of his 90's PC history lessons are pretty fun, and his in-depth, intelligent rants are extremely entertaining, but then it just feels like he gives in to all of the AVGN fans and swears about poop for a while.
