That's the temp it is right now in Chicago. The walk to the office from the train station was very fun. My knees actually felt frozen....they still do...

So how cold is it by everyone else? How bad is it up in Canada?

I'm in Mid-Michigan and yesterday the high was 2 degrees F, -14 with wind chill. Today 3 degrees, feels like -12. At nighttime it gets down to -20 to -30. Horrid.

You guys on the East coast will be getting what we have soon. It's always funny watching national news and hearing them talk about a recent storm in NY, as it's usually a storm we just experienced in Chicago a few days prior. So it always seems like old news.

Currently -17, was at -28 earlier, without wind chill. That is of course, in Celcius, not Farenheit.

We had -20 wind chill a while back. That was the most horrible walking conditions I hae ever experienced. And my house is 120 years old and very large, so we have to use space heaters instead of the ridiculously priced furnace, so I was very cold for a week or two.

Oh man, I love drafty old houses in the winter! They have such a nice charm or something. A big ol' fire burnin' while everyone sits 'round the livin' room wrapped up in wool skin blankets.

Shocked

Oh, you Canadians... It's 20 degrees here in NYC, but it still feels cold as shit. There wasn't even much of a "storm"... just some snow on the ground.

Then again, I don't really care, 'cause I haven't went outside in, like, 3 days.

It's a balmy mid 50 degrees here. I think I've completely lost my acclimation to cold weather, because I can remember a time I could walk around in 10 degree weather in shorts if I so chose.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

Down in New Mexico we've been in high 60s low 70s for the day, and it drops down to 20-30s at night.

Very conveniant.

its a nice 12 F here but with wind chill it's -15. I walked 30 feet and my hands were frozen to the point of hurting.

It really would for perhaps an alternative rock band.
