That's why I just sleep in my contacts. I have extremely bad eye's (like -9.0) all you need is a drop of saline every morning and boom. My eye's have actually gotten better since starting this ritual.

I once saw VADER in concert, took all the crap out of my pocket and handed it to my buddy for safekeeping, and jumped into the mosh pit.
My glasses immediacy flew off my face and onto the floor. After realizing the lunacy of crawling around on my hands and knees looking for my glasses in a death metal mosh pit I gave up.
When I came back to my buddy standing at the bar (about ten feet away) he was holding my glasses, unscathed. Apparently they slid across the floor right to him.
About a month or two later I was drunk and sat on them, snapped em right in half.

My Dr keeps telling me that if I stop looking at computers all day and wear my glasses less often, my eyes might actually correct themselves.
I told him... yeah but then you would be out of a customer and I would be out of money.

Seriously though, I'm looking into Lasik too. So far I've got all positive reviews, one person with heightened light sensitivity(has to wear shades during any sunlight), but otherwise all good stuff.
My eyes don't like anything near them though, so that's also worrying me.
i guess im the only one on the forums who doesnt have bad eye vision. granted, i havent had my eyes checked in ages (probably since high school or maybe even middle school... yeah thats what we call jr. high in arizona. big whoop, wanna fight about it?) but i still have the best vision @ work and out of my group of friends.
i guess alcoholism saved my vision

But 20/0 vision isn't possible.
Here is why.
The measurement 20/20 means that at 20 feet away you can see what a normal person should see at 20 feet away.
If you have 20 / 40 it means that when you stand 20 feet away you can see what a normal human can see when standing 40 feet. This means you have worse vision.
Now, if you have 20 / 10 vision then when you stand 20 feet away you can see what a normal person would see at 10 feet away.
