Wow, I thought I was the only Top Gear fan. I used to rent Top Gear and then bought Top Gear 2 for the SNES. I loved those games, and I agree the music was full of pure 16bit win.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I am affected by the music of Chrono Trigger. It has touched me emotionally many times. Seriously. It is a beautiful soundtrack unlike that of any other video game I've played.

Sonic 1-3 has some great music. I also agree with Drewbocop, Chrono Trigger is a cluster fuck of brilliantly orchestrated musical pieces, and will always rank as my 2nd favorite game for the SNES, because of the gameplay and the music.

We are a dying breed my friend, although I know at least 2 people that love Top Gear and now you make the grand total of 4 people, that is almost 5 people!....if these trends continue, we could have a Top gear remake within the next 10-15 years...can't wait!!

I had a buddy that in the end he got the first Top Gear, and I got Top Gear 2. I played Top Gear 3000 a little but it was never really that good, like I hate the weird weapons. If I wanted weapons while racing I would play Rock n Roll Racing, which I did, but I wanted the pure racing of it all. I never really played the Top Gear Rally Games or Overdrive on the N64, and though I do love motorcycles I had no interest in Hyper Bike. So now that we are up to 6 people that want it can we get the remake in like 8 - 10 years?

Definatley, there were times playing through that game where the music would accent the moment so perfectly I would just get lost in it and forget what I was supposed to be doing.

Yeah weapons is a bit much and fuck hyper bikes. What they do need though is a victory babe in a bikini when you place on the podium after a race like they do in super off-road. Hell, we should be making this game!

Agreed. Particularly the Antiquity world map theme.
