So I'm broke until next pay day, no beer money no cigarettes, top ramen for dinner, life is weak. I sat down to play my 360 and thought well at least I've got video games.
WRONG! My wireless controller bit the dust last night. The charge cord is broken, it will not register the connection and will not charge the battery. The battery is dead. No games for me.
I'm gonna play Police quest 4 and even have a half assed idea to do a review of it complete with screen shots if I can get a hold of a flash drive. If my computer breaks I guess I'll read a book. If my lights go out look for me on the evening news.

Is is the charge cable, or the rechagable batteries in your controller?
Worst case, steel the AAs out of your TV remote or something.

back on topic
Yeah it's the charge cord, the ground didn't break but the other two wires did. I stripped the rubber off the wires and have everything spliced back together but I need electrical tape or it will never hold. I'm probably just gonna buy a regular wired controller, screw this wireless crap.

The charge do-hickey in my wireless controller has been acting up the last few months, too. I used to be able to get a good number of hours out of it between charges, but now I can play for less than 5 or 6 hours before it needs to be charged again.
Luckily I can just play it with the charger cord attached so it's not that big a deal, but still.....

Your do hickey is on it's last legs, that's what I was doing when the wires snapped inside the rubber casing.

I had two of the Play And Charge kits, both eventually broke so I bought the Quick Charge kit, it works so much better than the others in my opinion.
