Anyone here ever play Batman Returns on the SNES? It was obviously meant to follow the movie, but it was a pretty straightfoward SS beat-em-up, and a damn good one.

i agree w/SOR2, part 3 was ok, but 2 just felt better imo.
batman returns was awesome on the snes.
the punisher arcade was pretty badass too, as well as the simpsons, x-men, and tmnt for both the arcade and the nes.

Ive played it. Its fun, much better than the Sega Genesis one. The Sega CD one was fun.

YES. I specifically remember rounding up five other people to play it with me at my local arcade (although I think the total possible number of players was seven. I could be wrong.)

IMO the SNES version of Turtles in Time trumps the arcade version.
The story progresses much better on the SNES version and the bosses make much more sense.
I also liked how you could turn on the comic book color scheme in options on the SNES version.
That way I could rock the real dark Donatello while wompin the fuck out of the the foot.

Streets of rage 2 and 3 are both good, and on that mark it really just comes down to preference(I vote 2). I'm very fond of Final Fight 3, its probably the best of the three.I really liked warrior blade rastan saga or whatever its called. And you all should consider giving Cadillacs and Dinosaurs a try, its not great, but its not bad.
I was giving super double dragon a try, but I forgot about it in a flurry of christmastime modern games. It had promise.

SoR 3 is superior in my opinion for refining branching storylines. A few fighting games had done it previously, but usually they only led to the same ending. SoR 3 had very distinct endings and story twists.

For me it's a tie between Golden Axe and King of Dragons, with River City Ransom coming in close behind. Can't say I agree with Splatterhouse being called a hack and slash, especially Splatterhouse 3.
Forshame at people listing Turtles in Time on SNES. The game was a joke compared to TMNT: the arcade game.

TUrtles in Time rocked the face of awesomeness. It's one of the few Beat'em ups I actually enjoy playing through more than once. I also thourghly enjoyed Knights of the Round.

Yeah Ba‘al I too have both of the Capcom Classic Collections. I have most game compilations availible for the xbox. The Tecmo one being the worst.

I haven't posted here in ages, but I had to post on this to give some love to Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team for the NES. Best Beat 'Em Up Ever! I can't comment on the game for the other systems since I never played it, but I'm sure those are great too. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to lurking.

seconded, the tecmo compilation is terrible. i only bought it for tecmo bowl, and it was the arcade one, not the NES one. so that pissed me off
